Overdue sculpting update and another AMA question!

I do! Scottie has done tarot readings for me, and I've also had them done by a woman at my old wiccan group. Scottie is better though. I have a dragon deck but I've not done any readings yet. I am looking for an appropriate deck for myself. I like the dragons but it's not the right one- I'd really like a Norse deck but there aren't that many good ones that I can find. Scottie was even talking about me making my own set but that's not something I'm going to do right now. :3

What about you friends?

This is the last few days worth of sculpting progress actually. There is a lot of fiddley work with a human face, but I do like how it's coming along. Tonight I actually resculpted the left eye, I'd had that done earlier but I'd decided that it should be redone. I like it much better now. :3 I've worked on the right side of the face, head shaping, started the mouth sculpt, cheekbones, etc etc.
Also in this picture the Pony!Loki armour pieces are nearby. :3

I'm not sure what sort of ghost this is? Am I really dead? Is it now? Is it after I've died of old age? Am I just temporarily a ghost? THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOOOOW. Or at the very least I need to? If I'm temporarily a ghost then that gives me a whole different agenda. Finding Hiddles and basking in his glow. Wait does my agenda change if I'm actually dead? Erm...

Well, assuming I am a ghost now, I suppose that I would go and find Hiddles to bask in his glow. xD I could be a friendly ghost that erm, helps Luke herd Hiddles around? IDK work with me here, what else am I going to do if I'm a ghost? If I can't see him in life I might as well take advantage of being dead so I can see him. lol

And of course I'm going to go haunt Scottie and be his friendly ghost because I wuv him and he can't get rid of meeeeee~

I had actually talked to my sister about what I would do as a ghost a couple of months ago, I said both of those things and one other. Assuming my father is still alive I would go and drive him to insanity. :3 (I don't know if he's still alive, he probably still is? I dunno the last time I saw him I sent him to prison and then there was a restraining order.)
My want to go be a friendly ghost might save him though since he's older than all of us, obviously, so I just might not get to it in time.

But that's not something I would do all the time. I don't care that much (I really don't care at all, it just sounds amusing).

Hmmm... I think I will go haunt Marvel HQ because that would be AMAZING. I think that I would subtley move around the Loki and Deadpool figures/art/whatever just to mess with everyone. <3 And I would read ALL THE COMICS. ALL OF THEEEEEEM. Maybe someone there can bring me back. Possibly with superpowers. And then I can meet Thor and go to Asgard and join up with Loki what?

Oh man, I remember last summer having to do something like this when the fire alarm was going off in our apartment building. I was in such a panic though because the cat was freaking out and we had to find the ferret. xP

I grabbed my backpack and shoved in my laptop, Scottie's netbook, my sketchbook and Thor. I'd wanted to grab a doll but I just got overwhelmed by what to choose and didn't take any. Plus I knew that Scottie would prefer if I didn't stay in a potentially burning building for stuff, and I'd seen smoke in the hall.

Ok, so I'm going to not count the ferret towards stuff because he isn't stuff. I'm also not going to count things that I wear all the time- so my wedding ring doesn't count and neither does my Loki pendant. Also I usually have my phone in my pocket. Maybe the phone is sort of cheating but work with me here you know how I aaaaaam (I had the Loki pendant and rings on when I ran out this summer, and likely would have had the phone too except I wasn't using a smartphone at the time)

My requirements for grabbing things to run out of a burning building with are that they are portable and easily accessible. Pets don't count in the easily accessible category.

I'm basing this entry on what I ended up grabbing in the heat of the moment then because that makes sense. But still only three things? That's less than what I took that time. xD


Ok, so the first thing that I'd want to take is my laptop because it's expensive and useful and full of important things. After thinking about the doll thing from before, I realized that I should have grabbed one doll- my BJD Saya. She's very special to me and also one of my most valuable items, and she would be difficult to replace. I can also upgrade grabbing Thor now that I have that I have the Phase One Marvel set- It comes with Thor and the Avengers as well as other movies and my Tesseract! It fits my requirements as it is easily portable in it's case and easy to grab.

Perhaps there are better things to grab, but that's what I thought of. n_n'

Hrm, what would you take if you could only take three things friends?

I watched Agents of SHIELD tonight. Some of my feels under a spoiler cut:
Me and Scottie can't tell if Ward is actually conflicted or not. I'm not sure though we do believe that he really has feelings for Skye.
I was so amused by the lanyard thing. xD LANYARDS WILL BE GIVEN OUT ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS. I love that actor. He's awesome. xD
I feel like there is going to be problems with Fitsimmons.
Me and Scottie were amused by the Slingshot program being a fake. This coming from Fury, the guy that used Tesseract tech to make weapons and start an alien invasion... yeaaaaah. Obviously he's not going to actually want to give up all that stuff.
Ok, so I got too tired to actually make a more coherant post about that, but still. n_n'

I don't have a ton of time to get tooooo far in detail about why I love specific animals atm, but I'll talk a little bit about it.

Ok, top five favourite animals! In no particular order because I do what I want.
1) Cuttlefish
I love cephalopods, and cuttlefish are my favorite. I actually wanted to study their behavior, look into language. They are adorable and intelligent and interesting. There is actually a whole lot of stuff that makes them neat that I don't have time to write about. n_n'
2) Horses
I have always loved horses! I know they can be the trolls of the barnyard, but they are beautiful and I miss being able to interact with them. I grew up around horses actually because a friend of the family had them and I visited them and helped out with them growing up. One day I will have a horse of my own.
My dream horse would be an arabian.
3) Cats
Cats do what they waaaaant. And are adorable. I probably don't need to go into great detail. xD My favourite breed of pet kitty is the Maine Coon. My favourite wild cat is the cheetah. :3
4) Dogs
I have always been a dog person and I get along very well with them. My old boss at remote field camp was always shocked that I was able to calm the half wild dogs that would try to attack him I am the dog whisperer~. I also love wolves. I am not good at narrowing things down.
5) Dolphins
I have to pick a marine mammal, and I love dolphins. I love intelligent animals, they are interesting to me. :3
Maybe I should have said orcas, they are the wolves of the sea and that's also interesting to me.

Five are so few... lol. There are so many more and I wasn't terribly good at narrowing things down as it was. xD

What animal would I have as a pet if I could have any animal, mythological allowed.

I would say a dragon! I would like to raise the dragon, eventually be able to ride it, and have the ability to lay waste to my enemies.

The coolest animal that I've ever gotten to interact with has without question been my little bb Piping Plovers. While they might not be cool exactly I loved them very much, and the longer I worked with them the more I loved them. I was tasked with protecting them and protect them I did. And I have given my best presentations on them, and talked to complete strangers about what they were doing wrong without any anxiety, and watched them from egg to fledgling birds.

I am so tired. I have also been really... bitey today. But I am doing somewhat better than yesterday. I went out this evening with Scottie and we did a bit of mall walking. We stopped in Gamestop and saw that the WiiU Marvel Lego game had dropped in price so we picked that up. I've been wanting to play that since I saw that it was going to be a thing. xD We played that when we got home. Playing that helped make me feel less whatever else I was feeling. I am very excited about the game. In the first short bit of playing I got to play as Spidey and as Iron Man, two of my most favourite characters, and saw Loki! When I unlock him as a playable character I will never play as anyone else evaaaaar

By this point, Hiddles will have become more tame. I will bring him home to Scottie (who I have to have as a fellow survivor or there won't be a me), and I will convince him to let me keep him (which he would I am sure). xD He should get along well with Scottie as well. Hiddles will be my BFFWB. Then erm I will attempt to repopulate the earth? ehehehe xD

Well, it sort of depends on the zombies. Are they fast zombies or slow zombies? Are they intelligent or are they unthinking shufflers?
Also there is a difference between intial and long term, but this is for the initial.

I'm going to go with the slow shuffling stupid zombies for this scenario.

First off, if I'm not with Scottie I need to get to him. Because if there isn't Scottie then there's not much point! We're going to say that we do meet back up.
Crap I need to actually have a contingency plan for this. I asked Scottie what our plan was but he was too sleepy to really think about it then lol. Apparently he's been trying to get this plan out of me for a while. Usually when I'm in the field though and probably all my brain would say to that is I AM FAR BEYOND ABLE TO HANDLE WHAT I AM DOING NOW I CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT I WOULD DO IF IT WERE WORSE SYSTEM FAILURE SYSTEM FAILURE *mac beachball*

Atm though I think I can figure out a plan of how to get from one side of town to the other if I was at the office. First off, I would go to the storage area across the way. I'd take my knife to make my way over there, or something better. Once to the storage area though I'd have access to firearms. I'm not sure how much ammo there might be back there, but there's probably a decent amount. I'm trained and certified in shooting and cleaning shotguns, so I'm good with that.

I think that that might actually be a good place to look for starter stuff. There's a ton of field supplies and things that I could use for weapons. I'm not sure, there might even be some food. If the plan is for me to walk home (which I can't say is the safest plan here, it's 4 miles home which I do daily but not in zombieland) I'd just look for enough weapons to carry. If Scottie drove to get me maybe we could pull out some supplies.
There is fishing stuff back there too, it's possible that maybe we could grab some of that and a boat out of the back for longer term planning. If it's summer I know how to pilot boats, maintain them (not all, but some maintenence), and do all parts of drift gillnetting (it would be hard for me physically because I am small but I could actually even do it alone if I had to). Also doing stuff from the beach for when we run out of gas. If you give me string, line I can weight, and something that can float I can literally make you an entire net to fish with. I practically have.
I'm all about getting out of the city, and if I can use all my random survival skills to keep us fed and alive that's a good thing. Work with what you know?

Ok guys, it has occurred to me that I have totes revised my original zombie outbreak plan when I realized that I am at such a useful place. If me and Scottie are at home, perhaps instead of hitting up a store for supplies we should head to my office. It should actually be a good place because we wouldn't want to go to the same stores as everyone else. We live in a big city though so there would be a lot of places to choose from. We'd most likely want to hit up a store for food- I'd like to get a lot of like camp food and emergency food- stuff that will last and is easily portable. I'd also want to get medical supplies. There should be first aid stuff at my office, or any other store we'd be hitting up. But also we live around a lot of doctors offices, a vet, and more.
Also I'd really like archery equipment because I have more experience with archery than guns. Plus I'm all about Darren's weapon of choice. Ammo you can reuse and isn't noisy, yus! Plus I really do have more experience with archery and I would much much rather do that than firearms.


I think I'd like to find some sort of defensible building outside of town to hole up with Scottie. But again that's longer term planning.
I wouldn't want to stay at our apartment because I don't think it's defensible enough by itself. I probably would want to grab all my field equipment. Yay for all my random supplies and skills lol.

Although what I would most like to do would be steal one of the sailboats in one of the port areas around here, load the supplies on that, and spend time away from land altogether. I've spent a lot of time on water and so I'm used to that. Both of us want to know how to sail but atm don't actually know how. I wonder if we could have a video game scenario where we meet up with a sailor and then we can all head out together. I even have sailing friends but they don't live here. :P

Although I live in Alaska, aren't we already in one of the places that people say don't have zombies?

lol well I could talk about this longer but I should head to bed. Still need to post about Winter Soldier and Pirate Fairy, those will have to wait until tomorrow.

But it is so... ehm, glorious... here.
Seriously though... no I am serious I hate Alaska. I've lived all over in it and most of my memories from the elsewhere locations are PTSD related. I currently live in Anchorage but it is just a big city with a view of the mountains in the far off distance. That's not that exciting. The state is conservative and all about oil and fishing interests, so often I don't agree with the people who live in this state. Among other things.
I have lived in more wonderful, more beautiful places than here. I would move out of here yesterday, but I need to figure out where to go. I hear Toronto has lovely sights this time of year *koffs* But London has those lovely sights more often. ehehehe~
Hrm, that came out grumpier than I intended. But those are my feels.
It doesn't have to be necessarily warmer I mean I am a frost giant wut but I would prefer a place that isn't spend half the year in night. xP

I do want to mention that I have been collecting them since 2011, and dolls are one of my main hobbies. n_n'

But the second part of that question hadn't been asked! If I would stop collecting them.
The answer to that is no! I love them, they are a lot of fun to photograph and they make me happy. I want to make customs too, so that's an additional reason that I won't want to stop.

Tomorrow I am going to see the Winter Soldier with Scottie! We snagged our tickets on Fandango this evening to make sure that we wouldn't have trouble getting them. We're going to a 2D matinee. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go to the 3D or not, but I decided that the 2D would be fine, was cheaper, and would allow me to sleep in. lol
Scottie had mentioned for me to check for a Cap marathon like they had with Thor- where they did Thor/Avengers/Thor 3. I mean Cap was in Avengers too. Scottie is such a sweetie, I would have totes gone there to see Loki on the big screen again! xD And he would have sat through another marathon with me with all my flailing fangirling. The Loki marathon w/ Scottie is one of my favourite memories. :3 ehehehe I just fangirl Marvel in general, the... intensity of the fangirling just jumps a lot when Loki is involved. Unfortunetely the marathon was only Cap 1 and Cap 2. So no marathon. The cost of the tickets for just the two movies was higher than we'd like, no Loki, and I have the Cap 1 bluray if I want to watch it again so it just didn't make sense.

This was my first username ever! At the time that I was trying to figure out a new name, I was a huge X-Phile. I was also really into The Crow, and my character inspiration had a lot of black make-up that made me think of that a bit.
Invisigoth is a character out of the X-Files, the episode Kill Switch. She's a hacker that uploads her consciousness. It seemed appropriate for a username. :3 The actual spelling was taken, so I spelled it how it sounded, and that was free. So there's that. xD

I never had a different lj though! Before I got my lj invite (from conuly!) in November 2003, I'd been trying to use deadjournal I think, but I really wanted a lj. I don't think there was much of anything at that deadjournal. I have a blogger thing and a dreamwidth, but those are just mirrors for this.

Not quite as long of an entry as yesterday! Now for at least some of the entry that I'd wanted to write yesterday. I still have tv to talk about later, but here is my photoshoot!

Yesterday Scottie and I went and voted in a city election, and afterward we went and grabbed dinner from McDonalds. (he was going to make burgers, but the meat hadn't thawed in time) When we went in, I saw that McDonalds had MLP toys! Eeeeee! So cuuuute! So like when there were the Build a Bear toys, I got a kids meal for dinner. I got a pony! The boys toys were Skylanders and they accidently put one of those in my box instead. Scottie being the amazing man that he is went up and got it switched to the right thing for me. They gave him a choice of three and he picked Celestia for me.
I did a photoshoot with my Pony!Lala, Twyla, and of course, the little pony. I think she looks like she's a little chibi or something. xD
