Funnily enough I was watching the most recent episode of Suburgatory and that was all about proposals.
The proposal at the end was SO CUTE. I also love that Dahlia walked by with her number while texting.
I think I have wedding stuffs on the brain because that sort of stuff is going on in my RP too. WEDDINGS. WEDDINGS EVERYWHERE.


I also watched a bit of TV tonight! I finally got to watch the Avengers Assemble special, and it was amazing! There was a fair amount of Hiddles and Loki clips, and that always is a good thing. x3

But not just that, all the Marvel squee in general! I was so excited to see all the clips (I mean, I'd seen a lot of the clips or heard the stories before because I troll youtube like, well like the fangirl I am, but I still loved it eeee <3)
I especially liked being able to share it with Scottie, because he's a fan while I'm a fanatic. There's a difference. ehehehe It was exciting to share how adorkable Clark Gregg is, and for Scottie to see the mastermind Feige, and everything else. x3
Though I couldn't help but be annoyed by the lady that said "Loki is the villian you love to hate and hate to love" (I think, I'm tired).

Hating Loki isn't even in the realm of my world, and I have exactly zero problem with my Loki love. I know that I can't speak for all of Loki's Army, but I'd imagine that's not an uncommon thing? So I feel like she kinda missed the point of all the fan love Loki has. Also I get annoyed by having that sort of put in my mouth. (This is a pet peeve of mine that includes a lot of things including a ton of assumptions about girls and comic book movies and Loki just grumble grumble grumble. xP)
But back to the awesome!
Also something that was awesome about the show- it sold Scottie on Guardians of the Galaxy! I think he might have also gotten more excited about Winter Soldier. For GotG I was sold on it immediately, but Scottie hadn't seen much about it and so wasn't as sure. I'm even more sold on Winter Soldier.
I'm really excited about all the upcoming movies! I'm most excited about whenever Loki 3 starts filming, but you know how I am. xD

Scottie had fun with me squeaking at him again. I asked him if I was speaking fangirl when I'd been talking about the Marvel cartoons, but said that if it was fangirl it would probably make more sense (it should at least have words geeking out about stuff!), he said it was broken fangirl. I just get so excited I just start squeeing. lol

ANYWAY. So that was awesome. Scottie said he felt bad it had taken so long to watch it, but I knew we needed to move some of the other stuff off of the DVR first since that particular show wasn't going anywhere. n_n

Let's see, we also watched an episode of Face-Off, we're still an episode behind still though. We watched the Willy Wonka episode.

I wasn't surprised that the plant sent the girl home, it turned out really really poorly. Sad that the show is a sausage fest now though.
I wasn't sold on the little guys alien looking thing. I still don't know anyone's names I am doomed this season. It made me think of Jar Jar Binks in a way, and that's not really a good thing.
I reall liked the black and white two sided make-up, but like Scottie said the lack of colour was an odd choice.
I am really glad that the wormy make-up won! That guy is my favorite, so I'm happy for him.

I also watched the first episode of Jim Henson's Creature Challenge. That was an interesting show. I don't like it as much as Face-Off, but it was interesting.

I need to change my icons this weekend. I need moar Hiddles~

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. I don't like the dentist but at least it's just a cleaning/check-up.

Viperine/Rochelle is my now my favorite headcanon pairing along with Venus/Abbey. lol I'd actually been thinking of pairing Rochelle with Duece because of the gorgon issues of turning others to stone, but he's already paired to Cleo and I'm fine with the canon pairing. This works out well for me. ehehehe, I'm such a dork. xD

So for tv rambles! SO MUCH TV TONIGHT OMG.

First off I watched the Voice, tonight was the last of the blinds. I missed Adam's last pick since the show ran over, and we were recording two other things that started then. We'll see whoever it was later though, so it's not critical. I am sad that nobody has really pulled me in.

Then I watched Face-Off, and that wasn't my favorite episode. lol Details under a spoiler cut:

Now the back issues are what I was expecting that special save to be used for, a health thing. Granted, he didn't need to be saved, even with the back issues he put together something good enough to be a middle look. But still. Me and Scottie both commented on the fact that this was the sort of thing we expected it to be used on, and that we were both ok with it never being used if it wasn't necessary. But still a moot point.

Saved dude from last week made an interesting look, but it wasn't spectacular and was justa middle look, which he was probably disappointed by.

My favorite make-up was the B&W Frankenstein look from the girl. I think leaving off the leg to focus on doing the paint and face as good as she could was a really good move.
The winning look wasn't surprising. That guy does really well executed original things. I wouldn't be surprised if he wins.

I was totally expecting the guy with the fetus to end up on bottom looks. Not because the baby thing was in poor taste- I've heard of worse things involving babies in horror movies so it's not like he was even being THAT shocking since worse has literally been done before... But because of that awful face sculpt thing. It looked like a leather mask or something and the painting was atrocious.

I was surprised that the leech thing ended up going home. I had been really underwhelmed by her concept and what she ended up doing, but the random pasted on jaw on the other dude's makeup was just so ridiculous. o_O

Anyway, this whole episode was a lot of Not My Thing and DNW, so bleh.

And then, the thing that I have been waiting excitedly for since I heard about Sif guest starring what feels like ages ago (was it a few weeks ago?)... Agents of Shield: Asgardian Edition!
You guys have to know that this will get me fangirling. xD It did not disappoint me, and it is my favorite episode so far! When it finished Scottie was like "This isn't getting deleted off the DVR is it?" and I was like nuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. He knows me so well! And is such a sweetie putting up with my sillyness.
Spoiler cut for Shield and Thor TDW:

We liked the fact that it actually made sense for only Sif to come down to deal with Lorelei, since any other guys would just be liabilities. She was pretty badass too! Her entrance made me all happy lol.

I liked Lorelei quite a bit too.
I rather enjoyed the talk that her and Sif had, alluding to their past experiences. Which I knew about from the comics, and on the commercials I had to go and babble on to Scottie about what she was talking about more specifically. xD
I wonder what her relationship to Loki will be in the MCU.

I also love that anytime people were talking about Odin... they were talking about Loki actually. Well, probably. It's still possible that Loki was just sitting the throne while Odin was in the loo and Loki just took that opportunity to mess with Thor. xD

This is where he belongs~
But if when they were talking about Odin's wishes they were actually carrying out Loki's wishes... what does Loki want Lorelei for I wonder. x3

I can help but be really amused by Fitz when he was under Lorelei's spell. Ah, poor fanboy. n_n' I don't understand anything about how he was feeling. *koff* (I mean, I just want to give Loki the Earth/Asgard/whatever he wants with a big bow is that bad? The answer to that is no in case you're wondering.)

I think that the end bit, where Coulson was apologizing to Skye for not stopping them from injecting her with the alien stuff, showed that having Skye around is really helpful to Coulson. He keeps slipping towards dark places and Skye is just like "dude, we're alive, and we've got each other, you don't have a tail or anything and I already didn't know what I was, we'll fine" and Coulson gets confused but also pulled back to a better place.

Anyway, I was a happy fangirl, but now I need to get to bed.

I really meant to work on my sculpt tonight but I ended up feeling rather under the weather instead. Bleh.

But I did watch some tv! I wrote out my thoughts about the shows, put under cuts just in case. :3
Helix I actually watched last night.
I thought it was interesting to finally find out what they were talking about with the White Room. Scottie totally called it that the outside was what they were talking about. xD
Me and Scottie were both amused that Dr. Farragut just used a compass to get back to the line. Take that traitor military dude!
I'm assuming Dr. IVIT's head is alive somehow, since they went through the trouble of showing us that the frozen monkeys were alive since they were screaming when they were set on fire.
Not sure yet what Dr. Hatake's play is yet, looking forward to seeing what he's up to.
(I realize that's a SHIELD quote, but I don't think Helix has been terribly quotable. And well, monkeys?)

I was so amused by Stan Lee's appearance in the show! That was awesome. Scottie said that might have been his longest speaking cameo, and he might be right. xD I figured he had to show up at some point!

Poor Simmons lol. I excel at prep but I am awful at improv so look at my extremely detailed backstory! Don't you want to know what marine life we looked at? *pout*
I can sort of feel for her though. I tend to over-prep everything, though I don't think I'm as bad with improv.
I was excited that Mike's character was finally revealed (as Deathlok)!
I was so amused by Coulson and Ward trying to work the holotable.
Agent May is as always a badass. xD I was also amused by this scene:
May: Oh yeah I totally told Coulson about us *flings self out of train window*
Ward: Wait wut?!

I am so looking forward to next week! Lorelai and Sif! I mean, it's not Loki, but it's still Asgardian. And Lorelai is the little sister of the Enchantress, which is pretty awesome. xD

Face-Off
I'm not sure what to say about this episode. I think the seed for the show (the guitars) was a bit hard for the artists to really get their heads around. At least that's what I'm assuming. I didn't really like anyone's look very much. I really liked the idea of the 2nd place makeup with the clear chestplate with the ribs and heart and things underneath. I was most struck by the abstract guitar makeup that won, but I wasn't entirely sold on the concept. It was a bit wierd.
I was a bit unsure about it because it didn't really say guitar in any way. I also liked it better than the others because they didn't have a set of guitar neck horns like so many others. I guess I prefered the too abstract over the too literal.
I was surprised that the angular red makeup ended up on the bottom. I didn't think it was great but there were probably other's I'd have picked instead. Not that I'd have picked it to win either, but I thought it was more of a middling look.
I wasn't surprised at all that the rockabilly makeup ended up on the bottom, especially after the horn fell off during inspection. She had to know that she was going home at that point. I feel for the girl because she was clearly having issues and anxiety sucks, but you still need to be able to get the work done regardless.
Anyway, a sort of meh episode this week, which is disappointing.

I'm mostly caught up on tv so far, though I still need to watch the last episode of Lost Girl.

I am so sorry guys I'm still sick and that's not really doing wonders for my posting/commenting. I'm unfortunetly not any better than I was last Thursday when this started, and the last few days have been remarkably worse than before. Ugh go away plague.

I've still been dragging my butt to work, but I'm giving in and taking a day off of work tomorrow. Possibly Friday too though I don't really want to take out that much leave, so hopefully I don't have to- I cash out leave to supplement our income but I can't do that if I use it.

I told Scottie that I was going to stay home and instead infect a fictional city with the plague playing Dishonored. lol

Scottie was awesome though and found Lego Marvel short films I hadn't seen before. THEY WERE SO CUTE, OMG. He watched them with me, and I said it was totally a win because my face hurt because I was smiling so hard instead of hurting because it hurt. lol

Loki was the main villian for all of the shorts, making minions out of other villians. There were a lot of different heroes! Including Spidey, which makes me happy because he's one of my early bbs. xD
