Scottie got me a lovely bunch of Christmas presents, he wrapped them and put them under the tree and everything and it was so sweet and lovely because he's sweet and lovely and WONDERFUL. Yes.
I have more presents that I took pictures of but here's one of them, one of the Inner Monster MH dolls. Scottie knew that I wanted the blue girl so he surprised me with her. I was having FEELINGS.

So there are wildfires going on nearish to where I live (not super close though or anything), but near enough that when we woke up this morning it looked like we had rainclouds but it was all smoke. Luckily it cleared up in the afternoon enough for me to still be able to walk home, though Scottie said he'd pick me up of course if it didn't. Literally the last time I saw air quality this bad was when the volcano here was erupting. I don't think I even saw this much when we lived in Wyoming and smoke in the air meant it was fall. xP SMOKE EVERYWHERE

Oh my god of mischief I am going to diiiiie. I am so tired. I've spent most of today being like "What am I doing? Napping yes no wait do work. What work is it that I was trying to do? TWITTER no no work. What was I doing again?"
I know that Agents of SHIELD is on tonight but I am really way to tired to enjoy it, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow for that.

I am so bummed that I forgot about the blood moon last night. I was even awake! I was awake way longer than I should have been in fact, which is why I am so non-functional now. xP

I think that it is rather handy that I have a slightly less involved question today because of my inabilty to brain.

Lets see. What cereal do I like? Well, every day I have a bowl of old fashioned oatmeal for breakfast/lunch. I eat about half of it throughout the day because I forget to eat. I've been doing that for the past year or so now?
My favourite kind of hot cereal is farina or cream of wheat though.

I haven't had cold cereal for quite some time, it tends to mess with my hypoglycemia. I do like it though. xD Probably my favourite would be Honey Bunches of Oats with skim milk.

I watched Face-Off tonight.
Not surprised by who went home! I liked Niko well enough as a person but I've never felt that he was a strong sculptor. I like Tyler a lot, I'm glad that he was able to stick around. I hope that he wins!

So I have had an awful migraine all evening, so it's a good thing I don't have a question to answer tonight. I decided to take some pictures of the new McDonalds pony I got the other night when me and Scottie went there for dinner. I had another kids meal. I was so excited because I got Luna eeeee that's the pony I wanted most! <3

And now it is time for me to try to sleep. Scottie says it feels like I have a fever and I think people were sick at work last week, and I haven't been sleeping like at all so that doesn't bode well.

I went to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier today, and it was AMAZING. (Nothing can top Thor 2 but I fangirl Marvel hardcore no matter what.) And then when I got home my bluray of The Pirate Fairy that Scottie preordered for me as a surprise when it first came available months ago was in the mail! (it was just released) If you don't know why that might be exciting... Tom Hiddleston voices a young Captian Hook.

I'd retweeted someone talking about it on twitter and added that I'd want it... and Scottie saw my tweet so when I got home he told me that he'd already gotten it for me. Because he is a sweetheart, yus. :D

So much fangirling today. It was amazing. xD

We went to the matinee, and I am so glad that we didn't try for the earlier 3D showing. I had really... awful nightmares all night last night and so I was suffering some extra sleep deprivation. I was still excited to go to the movie though, and once there I was drowning in fangirl flailing and was bouncing around like a crazy person. Once we got home though some of the adrenaline wore off and I went and took a half hour nap. (I don't nap, I was just that tired.) I will have to write my thoughts on both of these things tomorrow though because it is really late, and a half hour nap doesn't make up for all of the sleep that I didn't get all last week and last night. lol

Now for my question for today!

Ghoulia: Uuuuuuuurh? (Please sign my comic?) -we are going to pretend that is a comic instead of a magazine-
Catrine: How should I draw you?
Loki: I do not understand the ways of the mortal fangirl.

But of course, that's my doll world and not Monster High proper.

I think that Ghoulia fits me best as a character even now, but it would even work for high school me. I would probably spend my day geeking out over things, reading comics, learning stuffs, attempting to communicate my feels in my own weird way, and stuff like that.
I also could say Catrine though, because I have always been an artist. I was totes the girl that drew all the time back in school.
Probably if people remember anything about me it was that I 1) drew all the time or 2) had my nose in a book all the time and 3) was a geek.

I'm not sure if this is exactly the answer you're looking for, if it isn't I apologise!

This was my first username ever! At the time that I was trying to figure out a new name, I was a huge X-Phile. I was also really into The Crow, and my character inspiration had a lot of black make-up that made me think of that a bit.
Invisigoth is a character out of the X-Files, the episode Kill Switch. She's a hacker that uploads her consciousness. It seemed appropriate for a username. :3 The actual spelling was taken, so I spelled it how it sounded, and that was free. So there's that. xD

I never had a different lj though! Before I got my lj invite (from conuly!) in November 2003, I'd been trying to use deadjournal I think, but I really wanted a lj. I don't think there was much of anything at that deadjournal. I have a blogger thing and a dreamwidth, but those are just mirrors for this.

Not quite as long of an entry as yesterday! Now for at least some of the entry that I'd wanted to write yesterday. I still have tv to talk about later, but here is my photoshoot!

Yesterday Scottie and I went and voted in a city election, and afterward we went and grabbed dinner from McDonalds. (he was going to make burgers, but the meat hadn't thawed in time) When we went in, I saw that McDonalds had MLP toys! Eeeeee! So cuuuute! So like when there were the Build a Bear toys, I got a kids meal for dinner. I got a pony! The boys toys were Skylanders and they accidently put one of those in my box instead. Scottie being the amazing man that he is went up and got it switched to the right thing for me. They gave him a choice of three and he picked Celestia for me.
I did a photoshoot with my Pony!Lala, Twyla, and of course, the little pony. I think she looks like she's a little chibi or something. xD

Funnily enough I was watching the most recent episode of Suburgatory and that was all about proposals.
The proposal at the end was SO CUTE. I also love that Dahlia walked by with her number while texting.
I think I have wedding stuffs on the brain because that sort of stuff is going on in my RP too. WEDDINGS. WEDDINGS EVERYWHERE.


I also watched a bit of TV tonight! I finally got to watch the Avengers Assemble special, and it was amazing! There was a fair amount of Hiddles and Loki clips, and that always is a good thing. x3

But not just that, all the Marvel squee in general! I was so excited to see all the clips (I mean, I'd seen a lot of the clips or heard the stories before because I troll youtube like, well like the fangirl I am, but I still loved it eeee <3)
I especially liked being able to share it with Scottie, because he's a fan while I'm a fanatic. There's a difference. ehehehe It was exciting to share how adorkable Clark Gregg is, and for Scottie to see the mastermind Feige, and everything else. x3
Though I couldn't help but be annoyed by the lady that said "Loki is the villian you love to hate and hate to love" (I think, I'm tired).

Hating Loki isn't even in the realm of my world, and I have exactly zero problem with my Loki love. I know that I can't speak for all of Loki's Army, but I'd imagine that's not an uncommon thing? So I feel like she kinda missed the point of all the fan love Loki has. Also I get annoyed by having that sort of put in my mouth. (This is a pet peeve of mine that includes a lot of things including a ton of assumptions about girls and comic book movies and Loki just grumble grumble grumble. xP)
But back to the awesome!
Also something that was awesome about the show- it sold Scottie on Guardians of the Galaxy! I think he might have also gotten more excited about Winter Soldier. For GotG I was sold on it immediately, but Scottie hadn't seen much about it and so wasn't as sure. I'm even more sold on Winter Soldier.
I'm really excited about all the upcoming movies! I'm most excited about whenever Loki 3 starts filming, but you know how I am. xD

Scottie had fun with me squeaking at him again. I asked him if I was speaking fangirl when I'd been talking about the Marvel cartoons, but said that if it was fangirl it would probably make more sense (it should at least have words geeking out about stuff!), he said it was broken fangirl. I just get so excited I just start squeeing. lol

ANYWAY. So that was awesome. Scottie said he felt bad it had taken so long to watch it, but I knew we needed to move some of the other stuff off of the DVR first since that particular show wasn't going anywhere. n_n

Let's see, we also watched an episode of Face-Off, we're still an episode behind still though. We watched the Willy Wonka episode.

I wasn't surprised that the plant sent the girl home, it turned out really really poorly. Sad that the show is a sausage fest now though.
I wasn't sold on the little guys alien looking thing. I still don't know anyone's names I am doomed this season. It made me think of Jar Jar Binks in a way, and that's not really a good thing.
I reall liked the black and white two sided make-up, but like Scottie said the lack of colour was an odd choice.
I am really glad that the wormy make-up won! That guy is my favorite, so I'm happy for him.

I also watched the first episode of Jim Henson's Creature Challenge. That was an interesting show. I don't like it as much as Face-Off, but it was interesting.

I need to change my icons this weekend. I need moar Hiddles~

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. I don't like the dentist but at least it's just a cleaning/check-up.

So tonight I continued working on my Loki sculpt. I've started roughing in the other side of the face, and worked on the other as well. I really need to get a mouth on there soon because the placeholder mouth is sort of driving me nuts. I got more reference pictures and I think I'm going to resculpt the eyes because I'm not happy with them. I did some surgery on the head core since the head didn't end up in exactly the proportion I originally intended and so the core wasn't exactly in the right spot. I spent a fair bit of my sculpting time tonight actually getting that fixed up, which made me nervous because I was afraid I was going to smush his whole face on accident.

Watched the Voice tonight. I liked that the first song was Happy by Pharrell. People on twitter had said it should be Hiddles' theme song, and I like that thought.

Plus it's a fun song. I'm not sure there was anything else in particular that jumped out at me.

I really liked the Blacklist tonight. :3

So now she knows that her hubby isn't what he seems, which should be interesting moving forward.
But the last bit with the music box and Reddington hit me in the feels. It seriously made the entire episode for me.
I really love James Spader's character. Scottie likes him too. It will be interesting to know more about why he is the way he is.

Watched Believe tonight too. Scottie said that he was impressed by the way they are pacing out the show. They're not info-dumping so much that it feels like an info-dump, but they've put a lot of stuff out there and it's only on it's third episode. Also, they've maintained an air of mystery. Also, I like the two main characters quite a bit.

Time for bed~

So tonight I worked a bit more on roughing out Loki's face. It needs a lot of work, I know, but here's the progress for today. xD

I also watched the first Voice battles tonight! It was entertaining. Still nobody has exactly grabbed me. I'm hoping that someone does so I can have a horse in this race. I mean, there are good singers but nobody that I really care deeply for.

I watched the Blacklist tonight. Brief ramble under cut:
It was rather interesting. It's too bad that the captured dude (I forget what his name was) that was tied to the chair didn't have Natasha's moves lol. He might have fared a bit better. The girl was way too trusting in that scene. And the husband was super creepy.

I respected the guy at the end tossing the blade to his former best friend to kill perform seppuku. If anyone caused me to lose Scottie something along those lines would be the best they could expect from me, consequences after would be irrelevant.

I really like James Spader's character.

Also, today I started a twitter RP account in addition to my regular twitter account. This was in part due to me following RP accounts, and while I could have fun talking to them I figured it would be more fun to have a full on RP account. Now, the last time I did RP in this fashion was back when I lived at home still. o_O I mean, I still RP but it's in more structured environments (DnD, Pathfinder, etc). But this is the first time that I've really done RP on twitter. I'm afraid that I'm going to do wrong things. n_n' It was fun though so far!
I've also been thinking about doing a tumblr RP blog (obviously this is something I've been thinking about), but since I spend part of my day at work on twitter as well as during my walk home it's just convenient for me.

I'm rather beat, I don't know if I'm making any sense. My walk home today was ridiculous because the snowstorm over the weekend made the trails I walk a mess, and the sidewalks mostly had all the snow off the roads just piled onto them. e_e I actually had to take a lot of detours to get around, which took extra time.

So my giant photoshoot is here! I had a lot of fun with it, and it got really silly. I hope that you like! :3

I really like this bobble head. The sculpt on the head is actually really good, and after I unboxed it I couldn't stop squeeing at Scottie about how awesome the costume details were. Between the head sculpt and the costume details it is going to be such an amazing reference for my sculpting and drawing! I mean, it's not the Sideshow Collectibles Loki figure (which omg, I want so very much), but it is very well done and of course much cheaper. xD

I've been looking for any of the Loki items with no luck, as I'd said in my entry last night! I had assumed that I'd find a POP Loki somewhere, I've seen Thor, but no luck. I'm actually happier that I found this bobble though instead of the POP, because the POP is really simplified and cute while this is actually rather detailed. :3

Because bobblehead Loki is so small, he makes me think of Tyrion from Game of Thrones, which amuses me. Tyrion is my favorite character out of that series, and I can definitely see similarities in both of these characters.

Once I got to this point, I actually might have kept adding dolls except that I accidently bumped one of the dolls and knocked *everything* over like a bunch of dominoes. Scottie of course said that I should go to bed, and I told him that I was being kept awake soley with excitement- which was true. I was so tired yesterday I practically felt drunk.
Once I'd knocked everything over I remembered how tired I was, and at that point I had so many dolls in the frame it would have been difficult to keep going anyway. So I called an end to the sillyness. ehehehe

In other news, I have a spider bite on my neck that has been annoying me all day. Where are my Spidey powers? xP
