Is it madness?

Sigh, I don't want the weekend to be over.

I'm going to go do a bit of sculpting now, and possibly pop in Loki Thor. I don't want to drive Scottie bonkers though. I just get excited about stuff!

I've been sketching out chibi Loki and Avengers comics, and that's making me really excited! I might do more comics. I've never drawn chibi style before but it turns out that I'm pretty good at it. xD It's a lot of fun.


Of course, growing up around all the art theft on neopets has made me a super paranoid artist. It took a lot for me to finally put up pictures of my sculpts, but that's taking a picture of something 3D.

I've never posted pictures of any of my watercolours, drawings, or even my sketches past the glimpses of my ponies you see in my sketchbook. But I think that maybe I need to take inspiration from Hiddles!

I've been working on that. Because hiding my stuff away because I'm afraid that someone will take it really does me no good. :P

In other news, I think I put mom into Odinsleep because I haven't heard anything back from her yet.

I feel bad that I haven't done more sculpting the last couple of days! I did make the body and head armature of my new pony, and I've been trying to figure out legs. I had different metal that I'd been planning on using, but it turned out that I didn't have enough. Scottie did find me more though, so that was awesome! I'd been trying to bend some signs that we bought for armature for something larger that I want to make, it's more difficult though for a smaller thing. I got the front legs mostly figured out (and then Scottie could cut the metal for me), but then I got stuck on the back legs because that needed more actual shaping. I'm not very good at Hulking out, haha, so it wasn't going very well.
I was planning on spraying the Lala pony but the weather hasn't been very good for that. I might have to wait longer than anticipated unless the weather is better tomorrow than the forecast. I'd been planning on sculpting today but when I got home (walked home again), I felt like I was running on fumes. What I ended up doing instead was flailing around on Tumblr looking at Avengers stuff. lol

ANYWAY. I wanted to do something productive, so here's another flashback sculpt! This was the seal I made. :3

I told Scottie that I was uploading my seal pics tonight, and he said it was a good thing that I was doing it this week. I was confused, and then he said "Because next week it isn't safe to be a seal..." I don't know if you guys have been seeing the Shark Week promo commercials, but it's from that. I about died! I'm slightly delirious, but it was just funny. Plus I keep seeing Shark Week posts on tumblr (that have nothing to do with actual sharks or shark week, just funny posts), so it was just even sillier.
