Another interview!

So when I turned my phone alarm off when I woke up this morning I noticed I had a voicemail! Oops! I got a phone call while I was in the dentist getting my fillings yesterday. It was from the second job I had applied for, the one with walruses. I called them back this morning but I haven't gotten a hold of anyone yet. They want to set up an interview! I'm nervous, but not quite as nervous as I was before my last interview. As crappy as it might be, if I don't get either of these jobs I do still have my job at Pilot so I won't be unemployed. Also, now that both of them called back there's a chance at both of them.

It would be amazing if I got one of these new jobs though! I've been trying to keep realistic expectations, which is probably that I won't get either, but the hope is growing anyway. I do want to be optimistic, but I know how much it sucks when I start getting excited and it doesn't work out in the end. xP

Moar job interview stuff

So after playing phone tag with the contact for the job interview, we finally were able to touch base and set up the time. lol

This one is in my office in town, so not a phone interview this time! Which is nice because phone conference calls are more stressful than being in a room with someone. It's really hard for me to hear on those, so that and not being able to tell what people's reactions are make it difficult.

On the other hand, the fact that I don't look at all imposing might count against me, and people can't tell -that- over the phone. lol xP

Sadface

I got a callback about the sea lion job, I didn't get it. He apologized and said that they went with someone who had more marine mammal experience than me. I'm sad, but I still have the other interview coming up. That one also has shorebird stuff, which should give me an edge because I have done a lot with shorebirds. So here's hoping.
