Job interviews and dentists

Yesterday I had my job interview. I was soooo nervous, I hope that didn't cause too many problems early in the interview. I did calm down as the interview went on, but I feel like my anxiety caused my answers to the first couple of questions be a bit muddled. Scottie said from what he heard of my interview (it was a phone interview as the people involved aren't in Anchorage but a different part of the state) sounded fine. After I was done I had been so certain that I'd bombed the interview, I'm glad that he was able to let me know that I didn't sound like the gibbering idiot that I thought I'd sounded like. Hopefully they give me a chance.

One thing I learned from the interview is that the location is more remote than I originally thought, and I'll have less communication than I do out at Pilot. That's not great, but I think that I'd be more able to handle that when my job would be so much better suited to me. I think that even with the cons of the job, I'd enjoy it. It would be nice to really care about what I'm doing again!

In other news, I currently look like a stroke victim. I went and got a couple of fillings done on the top right side of my mouth. Now half of the top of my mouth is drooping. It also feels enormous. Hopefully the weirdness calms down soon so I can feel normal again, lol.
