Apr. 7th, 2012 08:16 amSo I was reading my extended FL this morning and saw a post on ONTD that directly appeals to my interests! lol It was all about Buffy stuff! xD
First it was talking about the next comic season. I have the first few issues, plus random Wil/Tara issues I've seen since, but I haven't read anywhere near all of them. It was really hard for me to keep track of when and where new issues would be coming out, especially in the places I tend to live. Eventually I just gave up and figured I'd get them all in book form once they were released like that. I still need to do that, but I have seen books of comics come out that when I have the money for I'll buy.
From the post I've seen a lot of people not thrilled with the direction the comics took though, which is really disappointing. Apparently the next season is being written by someone else with Joss Whedon only writing the first one due to his time commitments to The Avengers. But I am hopeful since they say that they're going to try to get back to Buffy roots, and fan reaction sounds like they did.
Then they talked about Amber Benson's new book series which Scottie saw in B&N the other day. I think I'm going to read it, the series sounds interesting. :D
