I spent much of today playing Dishonored, my Christmas present, but I did do some other stuffs. One thing I did was take a few pictures of the ghouls with my Christmas tree. :3

I also played the Christmas headhunter pack for Borderlands 2 with Scottie, which is awesome! Happy Mercenary Day! xD

Also, I watched the Farewell to Matt Smith and the Time of the Doctor. I'm so sad to see Eleven go, but it wasn't as sad as other regenerations. I enjoyed the episode quite a bit, though it did feel a bit rushed. I had all sorts of feels, starting with the farewell special. They showed Ten's regeneration a couple of times, which always gives me feels, then they showed Amy and Rory's exit, which also gives me feels, and Scottie was like "They're lubing your tear ducts" which was true. And that was all before the actual episode!

I did like the entrance of Capaldi. I am still very much not happy with losing my Doctor, but I am interested in what Twelve will be like.

So I have been meaning to post my thoughts about Dr Who for a bit! I was way behind on Dr. Who because every summer I go out into the field at the end of May, which is conveniently in the middle of the season for the show. Well, I hadn't actually gotten caught up after that yet. I'd gotten caught up to "A Good Man Goes to War", but not past that by last weekend's season opener. So last Saturday I spent much of the day getting caught up.

I was feeling all the feels about Amy and Rory's exit from the show! I loved those two. n_n They remind me of me and Scottie. I think they did a good job with it though, because if they were set on new companions, Amy and Rory wouldn't have otherwise left and Eleven wouldn't have left them. Even when they all thought about it and all felt like it was the thing they should do. It just wouldn't have happened. Even though they were were split apart, I think the ending was relatively happy.

I was all grumpy about a new companion, but Clara is just so frackin adorable. She reminds me a bit of a character out of a book series I was listening to this past summer, where the girl keeps dying and being reincarnated, and there is an immortal angel boy who keeps finding her. (The series starts with Fallen, and the series is like Twilight with angels. I know, I know, but I was entertained while out at Pilot listening to it heh). It's not the same, but it's what I was reminded of. I'm curious what she's going to be about.

Plus, adorable! Gah.

Anyway, to celebrate the Dr. Who season starting up, I'd wanted to take some pictures with my dolls and the stuffed Dalek Scottie sent me as a surprise gift while I was at Pilot last. (He said I could use it to EXTERMINATE all the things that made me mad out there, hehe)

Tonight I did continue to sculpt! I continued with the food sculpting. Still no pictures as they aren't done and I'm not entirely happy with them. I would have sculpted more but I was just so tired, I didn't get as far as I would have liked. Plus I didn't really want to start in on something different while so tired, I'm afraid I would have just made something I'd have to resculpt later. Which isn't entirely useful.

Since I was too tired to sculpt and I didn't get any MH pics this weekend, I decided that I could take a few pictures! My Howleen twins are looking at some of the Easter props I have for this weekend. I still look at the two dolls as sisters, and I'm having fun with that. hehe

In tv related news, I watched the season finale of Whitney and the latest episode of Suburgatory tonight while I was sculpting. I have a lot of fun with Whitney. I know it doesn't get the best ratings but I hope it continues on. Suburgatory is a lot of fun too. Jane Levy is adorable and Alan Tudyk is awesomely random. The whole reason we started watching the show was because of course, it had Wash! lol We don't usually do sitcoms so it was interesting that we started watching these two shows.

I need to catch up on Dr Who. My whole Who watching experience ALWAYS got messed up by going out to the field at the end of May, which was the middle of the Who season and I would miss the rest after that so I would end up playing catch up. Now that I'm not going out into the field this year I'll be able to actually watch as stuff comes out! But first I need to watch the last season.

The Whole Wide Universe

When the Doctor invites me to travel with him, the first place/time we will visit is: I'm not sure! There are so many things to pick from in all of space and time, how do you choose? xD
In between saving the world my favourite activities are: Sculpting, painting, reading, SCIENCE!, video games, swimming, going outdoors, taking pictures, playing neopets.

So tonight I started to completely resculpt the male head, since I'd completely wiped the face yesterday. He'd been my first head in this project, and I realized that I hadn't leached the clay for it. He's a bit trickier to work with because of that, but I don't feel like dismantling the entire head base to leach it so I'm just going with it.

So basically I sculpted the whole face from a blank slate and he's almost up to the same point as my two girl heads. I need to sculpt the second eye, work more on head shape and cheeks, finish sculpting the nose, etc. He's actually going pretty well! I am waaaay happier with how he looks now. I sort of think he looks like Sylvester Stallone, which I suppose works since he's supposed to be all buff. lol

I was sculpting him while I watched Sherlock, the first episode! I'm rather excited about it! It's something that I've been meaning to watch. Scottie liked it too, which is awesome. Sherlock is toootally Eleven. xD And that's a good thing! Both things were written by Moffat, so I'm not surprised by the similarities. I think I can tell what kind of character he likes to write! lol

Oh, and the kitty decided that Scottie's outstretched legs were a couch to take a nap on. I thought it was adorable. xD
