Graaaah! I hate myspace!
Apr. 23rd, 2008 09:42 amOk, so I have a myspace account. I created it a long time ago, and didn't do anything with it. Scottie was at Estes Park when he created an account because he had friends in CO that wanted to keep in touch with via myspace. After he created an account I thought I would try and sign in so that I could friend him. I did, and so then I actually wrote a bit in my profile. Then one of my best friends REALLY got into myspace and I friended her too. I still hated myspace. But I wanted to be able to look at her journal there and such. Then I found out that my family got into myspace. My sister has dated two guys that she met on myspace, three or more if you count people she was "dating" but never actually met. I'm now using myspace to keep up with my family and friends. I still really hate the site.
However, now I can't sign into my fucking account! I've been trying to sign in so that I can check up on my sister again. I want to know if she's still dating her current guy for one.
Now to my question. I sign into the site. I know that I am using the right email/pw combo. I sign in and the page loads and says "Hello Tanya" above the box that says "You need to be logged in to do that!" I'm not signed in. The reason I know that I have the right pw is because last night I was signed in for about 2 seconds using it. I went to the home page that shows your clickable profile. I was going to click on my profile so that I could click on friends profiles. So I clicked on my profile and THEN got redirected to the "Hello Tanya" and "You need to be logged in to do that!" I was logged in but then it logged me back out! WTF??
I'm using Firefox and Safari to access the site. It doesn't make any sense to me as to why I can't sign in or stay signed in. Any other site I can stay signed into forever no problem. :/
Edit: So I've been able to log in after I cleared my cache, cookies, etc. You'd think that I hadn't already done it but I did more than once. But it still wouldn't log me in. Rawr.
Edit 2: Sorry if anyone saw this posted twice. I don't know how that happened. o.O;
