I finally got Toralei!

So as many of you know, I have been wanting a Toralei for ages! Of course, I never found her signature doll, and I never found her Catastrophe version either. I was very excited to hear about her recent Coffin Bean release, and hoped that would finally be when I'd be able to snag her. Tonight Scottie and I stopped by the store to pick up onions... and I wanted to look at the dolls while I was out. THERE WERE SO MANY NEW DOLLS OMG. I saw a whole bunch of the Frights Camera Action dolls, and the new Coffin Bean dolls, and the Ghoul Spirit (I think?) dolls... it was crazy!

My reaction
There were three dolls there that have been on my wishlist since SDCC (or longer, in the case of Toralei). The other two were Honey Swamp and Viperine. Viperine is totally beautiful in person! I had been so excited about Honey but... in person I didn't love her as much as I thought I would. Which is probably good, because I couldn't really afford to pick up Viperine and Toralei today as it was. I've spent my doll budget for the next couple of months, but both of these characters are ones I've really been wanting and I would kick myself so much if I didn't get them and then for some reason didn't see them again (this has happened :P).

Anyway, I did a little photoshoot with my lovely new Toralei!

I did some sculpting on Pony!Loki armour, but not as much as I meant to because I accidently had a nap this afternoon. n_n' Hopefully I can get further with that tomorrow and post pictures! :3 Also, upcoming photoshoot of the super pretty Viperine. :3

Now it's time for bed though!

Congrats, I'm so glad you found her!!! Oh my goodness, that one is really cute. I haven't seen any of the Coffin Bean girls yet. Did they have Frankie and if so, was she cute? (I'm not interested in Abbey since she looks like almost all the other Abbeys released recently.)

We're totally opposites about Honey. I was 'meh-to-good' on her before I saw her in person but loved her once I actually saw her (same goes for Jane). But Viperine is stunning!

Thank you! I was so excited. :D I was especially excited about the Coffin Bean version because even though I love her signature, I love the longer hair and she doesn't have gloved hands!
I really liked the Abbey actually, but Scottie and I both commented on the Frankie being especially nice! I loved her hair and faceup. :D

I was so excited about Honey, I was so bummed that I didn't actually like her as much when I saw her. But that's why it's important to see the dolls in person before you get them! I think there's something about the face sculpt that I didn't love.
Oh I didn't even get to post about Jane, I saw her too! I had been meh-to-good on her before, but I thought she was so cute when I actually saw her! Still going to hold off on getting her for now but I was pleasantly surprised. :D I certainly hadn't expected liking her more than Honey!
But I was glad that I loved Viperine as much as I did. I love snakes and so I wanted a little gorgon girl. :3

Ah! shes so cute! Which store is selling the coffin bean dolls? Have you seen slo mo yet? I've seen him on websites but not available? Love my Viperine! Can't wait to unbox her! OH! have you see the power ghouls Toralei? A friend of mine got her the other day apparently she lifts her hand up and meows.

She is! I got mine at Fred Meyer (most of my dolls come from there it seems, they get the best assortments!) I did see one Frankie at Walmart recently, but that was the only one of that assortment there.

I'm excited that you have Viperine too, she's so pretty! :D
I haven't seen Slo Mo yet!I don't know where he's supposed to show up, but they'll probably be out elsewhere before they're here (that's usually the way it goes anyway!). I haven't seen the Power Ghouls Toralei yet, but that sounds cute! xD

She might not be out for you yet? This line has just now shown up here in the last week or so. :3 I totally understand the ordering online though! There are dolls that I have that I got online that I wouldn't have otherwise since I never saw them in stores anywhere!

Yeah, they had a basic Torelai ages ago in Toys R Us but I hate trying to find time to go get things from there. (I still need Mewlody and Purrsephone from them so... and probably Jinafire since she hasn't been out in anything apart from Scaris yet and I can't find her again >.<)

I'm waiting to see if I can't get most of my list done then whatever I can't get I'll order into a local Toys r us and go pick up.

Oh man, if I saw a basic Toralei I'd still snap her up in a heartbeat! xD I do have Meowlody and Purrsephone from there though, I'd been so excited to see them! I <3 the werecats, they're so cute. :3
I love Jinafire! I saw her Scaremeister (I think that's the line) version a couple of weeks ago in Walmart, it was pretty. Didn't pick it up though because I do have the Scaris version. I hope you can find one of her soon!

I haven't been to Toys'R'Us myself in ages. Since I really only buy their exclusives because of the TRU tax, I tend to go to other stores when I'm doll hunting. I do want Scarah eventually though!

I understand that, there are dolls that I like but other dolls have higher priority! I like Headmistress Bloodgood, and I do want to get her, but she's generally not high enough on my priority list to get instead of a different doll. xD

That makes sense! I do have more than one of a lot of the girls, but I've never tried to collect every doll. I try to only get duplicates if I really love the different look, or if the doll looks especially different (so it can look like a different character). :3

Awwwh, well if you ever see a Jinafire in a new range please tell me because I'm currently panicking that they might never re-do her and I can't find a Scaris doll anywhere anymore. >.<
