More random chibis? Also Voice ramble.

Today has been sort of a rough one. I went to sleep last night a bit late- but then because I felt unwell I couldn't sleep for at least an hour. Then nightmares were waking me up. Then at some point nearer to morning I got a charlie horse cramp in my calf and that bothered me for a while. I've spent most of the day sort of flailing around being a not terribly functional entity.

While I watched the Voice tonight I made a silly sketch because I wanted to do something creative, and so just continuing to get used to the tablet seemed like something of a plan. This whole digital art thing is strange to me still!


I had plans to work on my sculpt, or work on the actual comic that I have going... but I decided that it would be best to not work on something that I actually cared about because I was afraid I'd end up doing it harm.

The Voice had some fun music, though still nobody has really grabbed me. I do have to giggle whenever Shakira says something about hips not lying because

Hips do not lie, they do exactly what they say on the tin.
I am easily amused. xD

Also, a moose just walked by, I saw him through our sliding glass door. Well then.

Now it is time for bed, though frustratingly, it appears that the internet has stopped working and I'm currently connected via my phone. e_e

Is Shakira judging now? Jeez, I'm out of it... I don't watch those things much, but last I checked the token pop star judge was Christina Aguilera.

This is the second season where Shakira's been a coach, she's trading off with Christina I guess. Xtina was back last season after Shakira had come on for her first season. I'm guessing they'll switch off again?
They're doing the same thing with Usher and Ceelo. Blake and Adam have been on all seasons though still. xD

Ah, okay. Like I said, I don't really follow these things. I like the idea behind The Voice though, judging someone solely based on their vocal performance without being able to tell what they look like.

I don't normally follow these things either, so I totally understand! I've never watched any American Idol, or X-Factor, or whatever other shows there are like that. We were intrigued by the blind judging though, so we started watching and ended up liking it. I've seen all the seasons except for the first. n_n'

I also like it because it's a fun thing to have on in the background while I'm sculpting or drawing or something. A lot of my shows I "watch" while I'm crafting, but it's nice when it really doesn't matter if I see what's going on on the screen! xD

I was amused to see the moose. xD I saw someone coming down the rabbit trail people have made in the snow (to enter thru their sliding glass doors instead of by the main entrance) and was thinking it was a bit late to see people walking by. Then I saw that it was not a person, and it made a lot more sense. lol
Seeing moose is super common, but they're not usually walking by my window!

I just use the Gimp to sketch in, I'm using a Wacom tablet with a stylus to draw. :3
