Costume ideas anyone?

So I have a question for everyone! So, remember that semi-formal Halloween costume ball (magic themed) I'd posted about earlier? I'm going as Loki still of course. I even found an awesome cheap necklace at Forever 21 today that I'd seen someone talk about on a costume forum that I'm going to use in my costume! It looks like the gold bit on his chest. It might not work, but if it doesn't it's totally something I can wear on regular days when I'm not wearing the Loki charm necklace I made. ehehehe I was so excited that it was there, because I couldn't remember if it was an old post or not that I saw talk about it!


So ya'know, I know what I'm doing. Scottie doesn't know what he's doing though. Can anyone think of fun costume ideas for a male magic user? He's tall and he has long hair. It would be awesome if it could be somewhat connected to my costume in some way, but that is in no way necessary.
I think his not knowing what he wants to do is stressing him out, and that's not good for either of us. This is supposed to be fun after all!

Stop making my ovaries explode dang it. And awesome-sauce for going as Loki for Halloween. I wanna go as Tiny Tina AND I'M NOT GOING STAG DON'T EVEN SUGGEST IT.

As for your friend, I can think of one character: Harry Dresden from the Dresden Files Books series. IDK if you've read them, but the main character is pretty BA and he fits the description, PLUS his costume is fairly simple: black trenchcoat, cowboy boots, wrangler jeans, probably a button down shirt, walking stick, smaller stick with runes carved into it, charm bracelet with little shields on it, a revolver and a human skull to carry around. Just an idea though *shrugs*

That is an amazing suggestion! He wears a cowboy hat all the time as it is, he's totally into the idea of getting another one! lol Plus, a new tshirt and/or button down and pair of jeans will be easy. I'm super excited about getting him a trenchcoat, ehehehe, omg. *flails* He said he can make the stick fairly easily, and either of us should be able to make him the bracelet, and we can get a skull somewhere since it's Halloween, and a revolver too I'm sure! He's never worn cowboy boots before but he's not opposed to trying some out!

And then he'll have a new outfit that he can wear outside of Halloween! And I'm like oh god my heart is going to explode or something. *fans self*

He hasn't read the books yet, but it sounds like it's totes what he'd like, so he's picking them up now to read. :3

I friggin' love Tiny Tina. She's so awesome. The question would be if anybody on campus would figure it out. I suspect so, since it's a pretty wicked awesome game, but eh *shrugs*. How far are you in the game, because there's a crapton of feels in there and I don't want to give spoilers away.

Yeah, I highly recommend the book series; they're by an author named Jim Butcher. And also because I need to recruit fans for my Dresden Army lololol

I am so excited about Loki 2 Thor 2! That's super exciting that it's coming out so near your birthday though, wee! :D

Let's see, how far are we... We're Level 29 on our first playthrough, and are gathering resources to get to Angel. :3

Scottie is reading the first book now and likes it so far! You may get a convert to your Dresden Army! I'll have to check the books out too. :D

Unfortunately my costume thoughts are always wild and outrageous. I was thinking maybe a Paladin or something magical from World or Warcraft. It really wouldn't be hard if he was a lower level they'd have to stick with leather type material. But that might be a bit too much.

I got invited to a Halloween party this year. I'm seriously considering going. I'm not sure what I'll dress up as though. I'll have to find something.

That's not a stupid idea at all! It's sort of the obvious answer now that I think about it, lol.
I'll have to see if he'd be at all interested in that! I've been trying to suggest Marvel magic users, but he hasn't seemed terribly interested, but I haven't really been able to figure out why. Now I know that some of it is hair related, since he knows I like his hair long and he so he wouldn't want to cut it, but other than that I'm not actually sure.

Loki is the innate magic user, but Thor does have magical abilities that he can focus with Mjolnir! Plus, ya'know, God of Thunder. lol
We even saw a decent looking Thor hammer in the Halloween shop yesterday as a prop! The costumes themselves though were silly (a skin suit with fluffy stuffed muscles, oh my!), but it's not like I was planning on buying my Loki costume off a shelf! Maybe I can fabricate more armor for Thor too...

It would be amazing too if he'd go in costume to the Thor opening, since he'd have the costume in this scenario, but maybe I'm the only one of us nutty enough to do it. n_n'

ehehehe, I was thinking that too! But he brought up the fact that we'd unintentially be broadcasting Thorki all night and so probably not that, especially since neither of us ship it. lol

It would be amusing though if Scottie played a different Marvel character though, because it would be fun to see if anyone had any Loki feels about it! ehehehe
