milleniumgypsy: (Bolt lightning)
Well, not really. But I've had some crummy Decembers recently, and the fact that Gramma died a few days before Christmas a few years ago always makes me sad around the holidays.

Something that is really annoying me right at this moment is the fact that I live in an apartment building. My neighbor is generally pretty quiet. Last December for most of the month she had friends over. They blasted club music every day. Usually starting at 10 pm, which is when quiet hours start. -_- This would go until the wee hours of the morning. At least the fact that she was keeping me awake all month didn't effect my work because I wasn't able to start work until January, but now I have a full time job with early morning hours so I will not be able to afford being kept up all night, like at all.

I talked to her about it, and her friends (who she usually hid behind) were just assholes about the whole thing. I wanted to kill her by the end of the month. We eventually talked to the apartment manager and that's when the club music finally tapered off. I'm not sure if they were spoken to or if the friends left.

Yesterday there was club music thumping thru my wall when I got home from work. It didn't last for too long, so I'm hoping she doesn't have her douchebag friends visiting again. Though right now there is REALLY LOUD THUMPING (boomboomboomboomBOOMBOOMBOOMboomboomboomboomboomBOOMBOOMBOOM....) of clubby music going. If she does the same thing that she did last year I swear I am going to kill her.

And if December is going to start meaning that I'm going to be driven insane by my stupid inconsiderate neighbor and her friends, then I'm really going to start hating this time of year.

Ugh, I hope this is not a preview of the whole month. I don't get how club music can be enjoyable in a small apartment.
