Sculpting challenge: Day 57!

So I've been really busy and stressed out from work, so I haven't been sculpting daily. I did work on the cat some more today though! I decided to go with prebaked white eyes I already had in the size I needed. I'll paint the eyes blue later since I'm going to paint all of the sculpts anyway.

I did some modelling on the face. I actually sculpted the face almost entirely, didn't like the set of the eyes and pulled them off the face and repositioned them. I like the way they look better now. I made ear armatures and put clay on them, but I wasn't sure how I wanted them positioned so I haven't attached them. I might actually change them a bit, I'll have to think about it.

I also started putting clay on the body. I know it sort of looks like a potato, but it's just a thin layer of clay over the armature at this point. n_n'

I still need to make the leg armatures, sculpt the legs, texture and bake them. That's the next thing that I really need to do because I prefer to have those available well before I need them.

Oh wow! It's so cool to see the sculpt developing. I definitely appreciate having the previous picture now, so I can see how the shape of the head has been refined. So neat!

Yay! It's actually rather fun for me to look at it this way too. It's interesting to see how I've progressed rather than just what I have so far! xD
