Sculpting challenge: Day 57!
Oct. 24th, 2012 11:17 pmSo I've been really busy and stressed out from work, so I haven't been sculpting daily. I did work on the cat some more today though! I decided to go with prebaked white eyes I already had in the size I needed. I'll paint the eyes blue later since I'm going to paint all of the sculpts anyway.
I did some modelling on the face. I actually sculpted the face almost entirely, didn't like the set of the eyes and pulled them off the face and repositioned them. I like the way they look better now. I made ear armatures and put clay on them, but I wasn't sure how I wanted them positioned so I haven't attached them. I might actually change them a bit, I'll have to think about it.
I also started putting clay on the body. I know it sort of looks like a potato, but it's just a thin layer of clay over the armature at this point. n_n'
I still need to make the leg armatures, sculpt the legs, texture and bake them. That's the next thing that I really need to do because I prefer to have those available well before I need them.
