Sculpting challenge: Day 56!
Oct. 22nd, 2012 12:00 amOk, now that I'm done with the monster high photo competition entry, I can start back on my sculpting challenge!
I already had the body and head armature, so all I had to do was mix the clay to be ready to start. I used part regular Premo and part granitex Premo. It's kind of funny to me to be working with clay that's supposed to have stuff in it! lol I'm so used to trying -not- to have anything in the clay.
So I got the clay prepared and I started the base of the head. Tomorrow I'll continue on the face sculpt and start the body. I need to prebake the front legs so I'll probably start that tomorrow, at least getting the armature ready. I was going to bake blue eyes for the cat, but if I have the right size prebaked in white I might just use that and bake later. We'll see. hehe
Anyway, I'm excited to be back on my project! :D

I'm going to try to be better about posting pictures! lol
Here's the work in progress so far! I know it's not terribly exciting yet, but it has to start somewhere!
