milleniumgypsy: (sleepy Ed)
So I didn't get to sculpting last night. I had a rotten night of sleep the night before, so I don't think I would have done any sculpting as I was half asleep all day and that wouldn't be a good time to work on sculpting or doing a finicky bake.

Even though I was non-functional though I put in a nine hour work day, came home and put in an application for a credit card (I've never had one but I really should have one for emergencies), did our taxes, and applied for our pfds. Scottie asked if I was going to do something to unwind as it was nearly bedtime by then, and I was like "Yeah, I'll play some Skyrim..." and then went to the kitchen to get something to drink and started loading the dishwasher instead. I said I should be half asleep more often since I keep auto-piloting responsible things. lol I did end up playing a little bit of Skyrim before bed though. hehe

milleniumgypsy: (Sephiroth demands explanation of BS)
So I had a very unpleasant surprise this morning when I saw my deposited paycheck. I haven't quite recovered financially yet, and it doesn't help when admin keeps throwing me curveballs. My first check was $200 less than it should have been because they overpaid me on one of my checks this summer. So they wanted me to pay them back asap, and so wanted to take that out of my first check, or split between my first and second check. I asked if I could split it between my second and third check, as you guys should know I was struggling at the end of December. They said that would be fine!

My first paycheck comes in... and they took it all out of the first check. I was able to scrape by though. Then I had one regular paycheck and things were finally starting to look better. And then yesterday I got my paycheck and it was $200 less than I was expecting. *headdesk*

Apparently they messed up and didn't take out enough money for health insurance in January, so they just pulled it all out for me from this paycheck! Thanks for letting me know you were going to do that guys. Especially since you did pull out money for insurance in January so there wasn't any reason for me to expect that. What's the point of having this health insurance if I don't have any extra money to go to the doctors? Uuuugh.

After they pulled out that money... I luckily have enough to make rent. And probably the water bill that goes with rent. And then I might have $5 in the bank until the middle of the month. We're low on food, gas, and car insurance was due today. I can't pay the car insurance now or I won't have enough for rent. I'd really like to be able to rely on my paycheck. e_e
