Sculpting challenge: Day twenty three
Jan. 11th, 2012 10:48 pmSo tonight I worked on the basset hound! I'm completely exhausted from the stress lately keeping me awake plus work, so I didn't get too much done tonight.
What I did do was sculpt the back leg and foot, and I added the claws to the front paws and back paws. It took longer than you might think to add the claws since the toes are soft clay and the claws kind of wanted to moosh them. It would have been easier to do if I'd been able to find tweezers, but those things always seem to want to disappear when you need them. To add the claws I would need to very carefully insert them into the toes, then resculpt the front of the toe.
Tomorrow I should be able to put the legs on the dog tomorrow and sculpt all the skin folds on. I don't have as much time to sculpt now that I'm working again, so I probably won't have enough time to also add fur.
Hopefully this makes sense because I am totally falling asleep over the keyboard. xP
