The last couple of days

Well, Friday I had my last final, as you already know. The same day happened to be Carrie's birthday, but she was sick so we didn't get together or anything. Also that day my mom got a tumor taken out of her arm near her elbow. We rented some movies before that. We rented The Day After Tomorrow (I've been wanting to see it! I thought it was pretty good. n.n), Eight Crazy Nights (I didn't want to see this movie. But OMG my brother just -had- to see it because other ppl in his school just loved it. So we watched it. It did have some cheap laughs, but on the whole I didn't like it. It went exactly as I had imagined it would... :P), Gothika (haven't had a chance to watch it yet, I hope it's good...), Eloise at Christmastime (eeeh... I didn't pick this movie either. Mom did....), The Grinch (seen it already, but I like it. And I don't own it and it's near christmas, so I wanted to see it! For one, I <3 Jim Carrey's movies. n.n).

Today Carrie was feeling better, so she called me up and wanted to see if I was busy. I wasn't, so she came over, and we exchanged birthday gifts and cards. n.n Then, we also exchanged our xmas gifts. lol. She had already wrapped up my xmas gift, and wanted to see me open it right away. lol. She's just like me... I can wait forever to open my gifts, and never have any intention of peeking and spoiling the surprise. However, when it comes to other ppl opening my gifts, I can't wait to see their reaction. xD She got me stuff from Bath and Body works. One of them was this pretty smelling body lotion, white tea and ginger scented. She also got me some aromatherapy stuff (eucalyptus spearmint) to spray on my sheets and pillow. It's supposed to relax you and help you fall asleep. The way I've been sleeping this should be very helpful! :P
She also gave me this really cute card, it has 2 little girls on a swing together, and the inside says 'Once in a while, you'll find a friend who'll be a friend forever' and then she wrote me a letter inside. It was really cute. :)

Later, when I'm done babysitting I'm going over to her house to hang out. We're not sure what we're going to do, but maybe we'll watch a movie or something. I'm waiting for mom to get hooooooome. :P

I liked The Day After Tomorrow for the gorgeous special effects, and for tornadoes tearing up the city I lived in for four years. That was awesome. The science was, of course, ridiculous, but if you ignore that it's a good movie.

I also really enjoyed Gothika--I saw it very recently. I love ghost stories, and it was a very interesting one. Plus Berry is prettiful.
