Sculpting challenge, Day 154: pony continued!

I continued my pony sculpt tonight! I was dealing with some anxiety issues this evening so I didn't get quite as much done as I might have liked. No N pendant work tonight, just pony hair. I'll have to get these pendants done this weekend!

I already have a plan for my next pony! Of course, I have plans for a million ponies right now, but I AM REALLY EXCITED about this next pony. haha

I get the armatures ready for the pony mane and tail, here she is with those resting on her. I think this is probably the clearest picture I've gotten of her so I wanted to make sure to include it. n_n'


Then I started layering in clay, and getting the shape the way I wanted. I'm not sure about the mane exactly, it's going to get a lot of shaping at the very least but I might need to change the armature a bit. I'll have to see when I've gotten the shape nailed down more. It's just sort of resting on the pony so that's not exactly how the final product will look. n_n'

haha, I thought the same thing! We have really similar interests. xD When was first looking at your journal I had to point out to my hubby how similar our journal content/interests were because you seemed like my doppelganger. xD

I also wanted to mention that you have almost the same birthday as my sister. She was born March 14th, 1990!

I think that your leaving MI to go live on AK street is really funny! Nothing is set in stone, but we've been talking about moving back down to the lower 48 and it wouldn't be at all suprising if we ended up in WA at some point. lol

I was like "I recognize that name lets invade her journal" and then it was "holy crap she's me" And you went to college in Michigan. Did you grow up here or did you just come here for MTech?
You sister was born on Pi Day? Awesome. I would totally make her a birthday pie every year instead of cake just to be a dork.
Washington is awesome. I wanted to move there just cuz, but I really want to work for the National Park Service as a Biologist and the job market is better out there. Its really exciting. I've never been that far from home for an extended period of time.
Also found you on neopets. You've been on it for 2.5 years longer than me. or at least this account. my first couple accounts got hacked and banned :/ I've been on it since 2002 or so. :)

I grew up in Michigan too. :3

She was! I'm jealous of her birthday haha. I would have totally made her pie on her birthday growing up if I knew how to make pie, but at the time box cakes were the extent of my baking prowess. haha

That's kind of why I moved out here to AK, lol. xD I'd never been away from home a whole lot except for one semester at a different college campus, but when I graduated from uni I moved to Wyoming/Idaho, then up here. I also spent time in Maine working for FWS. Bio jobs can take you all over!
