Sculpting challenge, Day 142! Pony continued!

I decided to paint my pony as a bay, so last night and tonight I got the painting finished. I took these pictures, but afterwards I decided to do a light wash of reddish brown over the rest of the body. She looks slightly different, but not a whole lot different. Then we had to head out and pick up some matte spray sealant, since I realised we only had gloss, or matte for drawings. :P I actually have been meaning to spray all of my previous animal sculpts, I didn't when I made them because a)I didn't have matte spray and mostly b) it was winter and waaaay too cold to do outside. I did all of the animals in matte except for the frog which got gloss. That actually turned into a bit of a project all by itself! I'm super excited about having that done now. All that needs to happen for them now is for me to gloss their eyes. :3
Tomorrow I'm hoping to get the hair rooted!

I actually have been doing 2D stuff longer than sculpting! I've done pastels, charcoal, acrylics, straight drawing, etc. But my main medium is watercolours actually! I haven't been painting lately because most of my artsy time is spent on sculpting, but that's definitely something I enjoy doing. :3

heh, well now I feel silly. n_n'' But it's true, there aren't! I wish that I had more time for arts, there are so many things that I want to do!
