milleniumgypsy: (FMA- Ed and Al piggyback)
So tonight I continued on with the figure sculpts. I attached the last head to the last body! Then I sculpted the necks muscles and collarbones on all but one. They still need some tweaking, but that's about as far as I could get before they got too warm.

I also worked a little bit on the body shapes. I was going to get them all smoothed and perfect before attaching the heads and realized that wasn't a good idea. The stronger the lines are the less likely they'll be smudged out while I'm working on the bigger details, like holding on to it with my warm hands while attaching the head. :P So the body details are way more pronounced than they will be in the final product, but until I'm further along I guess they're going to stay that way!

I'm not sure what I'll do tomorrow! I'll finish the neck area of the last girl, and I might do some tweaking. But perhaps the next thing to attack will be the arms or legs!

Please disregard the magazine pillow. xD

In other news, we finished Rosario+Vampire the other night! It was cute and we kept it on the Netflix instant queue to alert us when the new season comes on. Based on the suggestion of [livejournal.com profile] manda_kittyand Netflix suggestions, we started watching Angel Beats! It's an interesting anime so far. Not quite what I expected, but I like it. :3

Wow that looks really great! I always had trouble drawing people, let alone sculpt them!

I'm not sure if I should show you this but the last picture in this post shows my feeble attempt of doing a Michael Knight once ;) I had made K.I.T.T. from scratch and wanted a figure with it. Never got around to make him some clothes, but then he looks very bad. Then again, I was only 16 at the time...

Thank you so much! :D

I think it's awesome that you did a KITT and a Michael Knight! I had a little hot wheels KITT when I was a little kid, it was my treasured toy car haha. I loved that show! I think that your little guy looks good, especially for you being young! If you got the clothes to put on him he'd look kinda chibi. :3

Please forgive me but I had no idea what chibi is so I had to look it up LOL You really think so? I think his feet are too big (needed to do them this way so he would not fall over) and his arms are too long. But as you can see I crafted him in a way so he would be able to move. I even made single fingers as I wanted him to be able to hold a microphone (David Hasselhoff was also known for his singing in Germany back then).

Glad you liked my K.I.T.T.! It's a really great car. Perfect for me as I am not good for driving.
