There is a commercial that keeps playing here, which is annoying the hell out of me. It's telling people to tell their senators to vote for this health reform, it's the one we've been waiting for!!! But it doesn't... say anything. It just cuts between a couple of old people and a young woman holding a baby in a town hall meeting type setting saying that it's the best bill and it's what we've been waiting for, and to tell your senator to go for it! They don't direct you to any more information, who they represent, nothing. It's so irritating.

This reminds me of a pet peeve of mine which got triggered this morning by the radio - when they advertise films solely by mentioning the cast and 1-5 word soundbites from reviewers. I don't care if Nine is "breathtaking" (Sunday Mirror), "not to be missed" (Grazia), "a formidable film" (Pin Collectors Monthly) and starring Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard". Tell me what the bloody plot is!
