milleniumgypsy | How to implant hair on a felted dog? (Reply)

I am currently trying to make fleece puppies. I have the puppy made, and now I am supposed to put implant hair. However, I am not sure how I am supposed to implant the hair without making my puppy look like a sheep with a static problem. I used my brushes that I card with to straighten it, but it is kinky for one thing. In the pictures that I have (I have the book Fleece Dog) the implanted hair looks straight and wispy. I have kinky and thick. I know that they talk about using dog hair, but it's not supposed to be -necessary-, so I don't think it's dog hair in the picture. I suppose it could be a different type of wool, but it doesn't say that it is.

Any suggestions on how to give my puppy some normal looking implanted hair?
