Today was my first day off in 3 days. Tomorrow I work again for a 6 hour shift (shocking! x.X I've worked nothing but at least 9 hours up to now), though Saturday and Sunday are both 9 hour shifts.
Wrists are bothering me off and on now. Just a bit, but I think it's showing me what will come to be if I continue to work there.
I was thinking when I was walking that I think of much more interesting things while walking than half the stuff that I write in here. What do I have in here? Records of events, random musings, ranting (lots of ranting, since when I have no other way to vent, this is my outlet), proclamations of boredom... Mostly anyway. I don't think it's all bad, but not that great anyway. My internal monologues that I have during my walks are usually have more substance. But those I keep contained in my head. Once I get home I'm done with those thoughts, I have no inclination to transcribe all those thoughts here... Except in this instance, where I was thinking about this random musing again... But still, this was just a random musing, not the bulk of my thoughts in the least. Oh well.
I've been reading Northern Lights, a book Scottie lent me. I really like it, and it's funny because the main character reminds me of Scottie in a way. He's even a redhead. Though the character is a reluctant redhead and says 'it's not red, it's brown.' lol This quirk also reminds me of Scottie. lol
On the one hand, the fact that the books makes me think of Scottie makes me happy. On the other hand it also makes me miss him like crazy! This is so helpful. xP
I told mom about the book, and said that the character in a way reminded me of Scottie. (also reminds me a bit of myself, but that's a different matter. Sort of anyway) Mom said that people tend to like books that they can see themselves in the character...
Not too much longer and Scottie gets home. Maybe I'll be able to afford to go there anyway... Er... prolly not, but I'd still like to go...
