Ok, today is really wierd. I came in today at 9 am, because my demon spawn siblings didn't go to school this morning because my brother and sister are both really sick. Yay, they need to keep their damn germs away from me. Unlike them I can't stay home when I'm sick. There basically isn't any level of sickness that can possibly keep me home. o.O
Anyway, so I get to school at 9, and I needed to talk to Dr. Keen about the presentation I'm supposed to give in biostats rec tomorrow morning. It's during his office hours... ...he's not there. Great. Greatgreatgreat. Ok, so I wander off and do biostats homework instead until 10 am when my ichthyology class meets. At 10 I start walking up the stairs to the class and I run into Emily going the other direction (she's in my class). "Class is cancelled! Nancy (Dr. Auer) must still be sick!" (she wasn't in lab yesterday either, her husband who is also a teacher came in and supervised instead) Ok, so no ichthyology. I go over into a study room in the Dow building and do more biostats. I'm getting ahead in my book now. I didn't bring my physics book because I didn't think I'd have time to do anything besides work on my presentation, and I should have only had from 11 to 12 and from 2 to 3 with spare time, which I should use for presentation work. But I'm completely stuck on that. Ok, 12 I go to my biostats class. I intend on asking Dr. Keen about my presentation after class, and asking if maybe I could meet with him at 3 or 4 (this would require skipping geology if I went at 4, but hey). So I'm waiting to get into class, and the other class comes streaming out. "Class is cancelled for noon!" says all the students coming out of the classroom. Oooook, so I can't ask Dr. Keen if he's not there. But he's sick too? o.O I have never had a class cancelled before because of a sick prof. Definetely not 2 in a row! I have physics at 1, I'm assuming that Mr. Meyer will be there, and I'm assuming Dr. Bluth will be in geo at 3. But the important one was biostats damnit! I really needed to talk to him!
Niether of them could send out an email saying 'hey, I'm sick, class is cancelled so you don't have to come in today.' That would have been nice. Technically, I could have slept in and come in to school at 1... Or at the very least brought my physics book. Damnit... Working ahead in biostats is good, but I could be working on tonights homework instead. Bleh. Or I suppose I could go work on my radon report for geology that's due on monday. But all this stuff is well and good but I need to work on my presentation! But I'm stuck on it!
Anyway, I was jokingly referring to Shawn of the Dead because if you've seen it, you saw that a bunch of ppl were getting sick and missing work in the beginning. That and me and my geology lab partner Tony were talking about Shawn of the Dead after lab. haha So it's in my head.
