random randomness
Mar. 22nd, 2005 12:39 amI feel like my brain's been put in a blender. I was at school straight from 8 am to 10 pm and was running/studying/working the entire time, until 10 when I finished my biostats exam. Drove home. Could I take a break? No, I had physics due at midnight. x.x So I did the best I could on that. Seriously by the time I started my homework I could. not. think. anymore. So yeah, I didn't do really good on that assignment. But the biostats exam was higher in priority than one webassign assignment.
I'm finally chilling out now. It's almost 1 am! I should go to bed but I'm in that wierd stage where you don't have the energy to leave where you are, even though you're really tired.
Oh wait! I had a point to why I came on here! Still no updates on my life though, I really need to do that. I'm going to have a book by the time I actually write it. And if it gets too long, I'll never get around to it. x.X
Hey! I need to get around to my point don't I? Ok, something that I was just thinking of when I was looking at certain icons. Something that I don't get. What is it about boy/boy slash that is so interesting to girls? I mean, I think it's cute when I see to guys together but I have different reasons besides 'ONG teh HAWTNESS!!!11!'. But wait, I did have a point here. Ok, so a girl say likes Legolas and Aragorn (I've seen this slash), so she decides, 'well, what do I do... I know! Legolas and Aragorn together! Man that's hot!' But one thing that makes it confusing is that this usually (as I've seen) is not started by a gay guy, which wouldn't be confusing, but it's started by a girl. Why are girls fantasizing about boy/boy pairings? Doesn't making the object of your attraction attracted to a different gender and gender preferance sort of counter-productive? Wouldn't you want who you're lusting after lusting after your gender? Ok, that sounds wierd. But I'm not coherent right now. But maybe that's the point? That they don't feel competition from a girl that they may percieve as prettier than they are? I have no idea. Still doesn't make sense.
Now girl/girl pairings are fine with me. But then, I have my reasons for that, and they make sense. heh
Wow, I need to go to bed.
