Christmas things

This christmas is really messed up. o.O We didn't get our tree up until last Friday, and we only have lights on it. It's not decorated yet. Granted, it looks pretty in the dark but it's not decorated yet. Normally by this point it's been up and decorated for a couple weeks at least! Mom was like, well, we'll just keep it up past new years! And I'm like, that's a great idea mom... But it's the same thing we do every year! We're not getting extra time anyway! Just less time with it up at the proper time. Grr.

We also have all these lights up, but mom is so uptight about the electric bill that at any given time there are usually at least half of them unplugged. o.O;

And I've realised that xmas is in just a couple days, but I haven't gotten presents for anyone yet, well, besides Carrie, my sister, and brother. o.O; Wow. Normally I would have been buying presents for ppl since last summer. But I have hardly gone shopping at all this year, because I don't have money to be spending, and neither does mom, so we haven't really had any family shopping outings either. Though now that I think about it, I actually have xmas prezzies for Krissy too. Almost forgot about that. Good thing I have stuff for her already! Well, that leaves at least Mom, Gramma, and Grampa. Mom... umm... she shouldn't be too hard to buy for... Gramma isn't that hard either. She likes crystal things that she can hang around. If at a loss I know exactly what I can buy her. hehe Grampa is hard though. I always end up buying him t-shirts, socks, scarves, etc. o.O

Now that I think about it, I'm not sure where I put my brother's present. Gaaaah.

I'm going shopping tomorrow, hopefully I can get all I need. It's going to be a madhouse in the stores though! x.X;
