I think I am getting burned out. I think all the other crap going on right now on top of tons of homework, exams running me over every week or so, never getting enough sleep because of doing said homework, etc are getting to me in a big way. This whole week has been terrible, I haven't wanted to be here at all for the entire week. And my classes seem to go by so slowly! Ahhhh, when is my Thanksgiving vacation...
Oh, and this morning I got up early because I had a doctors appt. Remember when I was saying that my heart was acting wierd last week? Mom was freaked and wanted me to see a doctor, so I did. Now on top of all this other crap in my life the doc wants me to have blood tests and ekgs and 90 other assorted tests. Bleh. After I get out of school and go home I get to go have my ekg and blood tests. Yay, I just loooooooooove blood tests. Not.
I'm cranky today. I should have gone to the DOW computer lab instead of the library and printed off my next physics assignment so I could start on that, but I didn't. I just don't waaaaaaaaaant tooooooo...
Something else that's making me crabby, Michelle has a hockey game this saturday night, and it's a home game. She wants me to come see her play, but I can't because I don't have a ride there or home. I want something to go right damnit! Arg. I want to go see her play. ;_; (though, it seems so odd to me that she'd be so into hockey, cause she's so small! Although also, I have a good friend that I went to school with, she goes to nmu (a relatively nearby college) and she's about my size, and she's really into the hockey too.)
I've never played hockey myself, because I can't skate. Well, scratch that, I can skate -on my ass-. I have an outdoor ice rink right across the road a few houses down too. But then, it has wierd hours, and is usually closed to the public because the guys that clean up the place usually keep the public out so they can use the public ice rink to play hockey privately. Which pisses me off. I mean really, so they snowblow it, and put down water for ice. But it's supposed to be -public-, it isn't theirs'. I think it was open for the public a total of one week last winter. And there they are all winter long, burning the lights and using the water and whatever late into the night... Yeah, it pisses me off. I'd like to learn how to skate really, but I only have figure skates. I'd like to try to learn using hockey skates. I tried on a friends hockey skates and they were so much more comfortable! I get told that it would probably be harder for me because I wouldn't have the picks on the ends anymore. But I've never used the picks before once! The only thing they do is trip me! And I have never used them to stop, I always move my feet a certain way to stop. So why would the loss of picks be a bad thing for me?
Anyway, that was a tangent. I've never played hockey, but I have played broomball. I think it's fairly simular to hockey, only you don't use skates, you run on the ice. And the idea is that you use brooms instead of hockey sticks to hit the ball... but when I was at lssu we didn't use brooms. We used hockey sticks. lol When I was there, I was on a team, and I did love to play that game. I don't play anymore since I came back to mtu though. I do miss it. MTU does it differently though, you really do use brooms, and they don't let you play in the ice arena, you play outside in makeshift ice rinks. Uhm, it's kind of hard to explain...
Anyway, this was a tangent and a half. I don't think I'm going to have time to go print of my physics homework now lol.
Oh! If any of you are interested, poke me later and have me post my library stalker story. :P
