Damnit! Kerry lost. I am so annoyed. Not that I am entirely surprised unfortuntely. One, most people are stupid, therefore why do I expect them to vote sensibly? :P Two, while I do prefer Kerry, I think there is the same problem with Kerry for voters as there was with Gore. That being they complained that they are too stiff, too aloof, whatever and not all voters felt that they could connect with him. Bush, however, as much as an idiot asshat as he is is more... um... charming for lack of a better word. Therefore he could charm the votes off of stupid people. :P I prefered Kerry vastly, hell, I'd prefer a rabid squirell over Bush, but I wish we had had a stronger candidate for the democrats. Really, I do. And then of course Bush had the 'fear the terrorists! fear the terrorists! If Kerry comes into office he'll be letting them walk right in with open arms' type thing going, as well as 'fear gawd, kerry is the devil incarnate and if you vote for him you will go to HELL!!! You don't want to do that now do you, now go be a good christian and vote for me!' Ok, so I'm embellishing. I'm annoyed. :P

Like I said, I was hoping that Kerry would win, but I wasn't expecting it. :P

Bah, well, I'm putting off writing the rest of an ecology paper that I need to get done by 2. It's now 1:22.. So yeah, I need to get on that. :P

Oh, btw, I said if Bush got re-elected that I would become a citizen of another country. Now I need to find a new country. I'm thinking somewhere warm... Maybe Australia! Anyone want to join me? I already have a group of my friends who would. :P
