My canary is eggbound. What can I do? I looked at sites that said maybe to break the egg if you can see it (but you run the very real risk of killing the bird in the process...) or rubbing veggie oil around the egg to maybe get things moving (but that sounded like it isn't very sucessful)... If the issue isn't resolved the bird will die!

Or rather, I was worried. o.O I think it helped when everyone else went to sleep, because then she wasn't stressed out anymore by noise and stuff, I guess it's something that can mess up a bird when she's trying to lay her eggs.
I just hope that she only had that one egg to lay, and there aren't more that she needs to lay... o.O
