Trimming the tree with Saya

So on Thursday when I was walking home I was tweeting that it was cold, that the cold was making my eyes water, and the tears were freezing because it was so cold. And that it was making it hard for me to read my twitter feed, because I have priorities. Of course, halfway into my walk the cold drained my phone's battery so I couldn't keep looking at twitter anyway, but that's beside the point. xD

When I got home, Scottie had a cup of hot chocolate ready for me, which was really sweet! I'm not sure if he'd seen my tweet or if he just knew I'd be cold, but he's just awesome.
He'd also gotten out our little Christmas tree and set it up! He wanted to surprise me. :D The tree still needed to be trimmed because he knows that I like to do that, but it was so sweet of him to do!

Last night I decided to do what I've been meaning to do since I got Saya (my Elfdoll Soah), to do a photoshoot of her decorating our tree! It seems like the perfect thing because it's a really good size.

I wish I had a slightly more interesting background, like what I do with my Monster High dolls, but erm she's just a touch (or quite a bit more than a touch at 60 cm) larger than a Monster High. lol

Thank you! She really is. :D I actually got her before I got into Monster High dolls, though I don't have any other BJDs.

Besides Saya and my MHs, I have a three Disney dolls and some thrift store Barbies (those are just for future custom dolls though!).

Oh pretty! I can't wait until I get completely settled in at my new home so I can photograph all my new dolls. Can't wait until after Xmas either. I believe I got my first ever after high doll I really wanted Maddie Hatter and I'm pretty sure I got her. My collection had grown so much these past few months, I even have a wave 1 Frankie with her pet and it's driving me insane cause I can't decide if I want to play around and pose and photograph her or leave her pristine in the box. :/ so hard. Lol. I was given some cam sets from a friend which will be fun and my girlfriend's mom will be teaching me how to sew, so I was contemplating trying to make some costum clothes when I learn. Maybe eventually I'll even use one of my replica dolls and try making a custom, do a new set of hair and such. If I find I have the patience. :) Have you seen any of the mlp equestria girl dolls? What do you think of them? I was disappointed at pinkie pies doll at first but now there's a decent one, they did a good job I think on rarity, fluttershy and celestia though. Twilight isn't bad either. :) if I don't hear from you, have a great Christmas!!

I hope you get settled in soon so you can take pictures of all your new dolls! Of all the EAH dolls Maddie is my favorite so far, though I don't have any of them yet.
I have a Wave 1 Frankie too! I found her in a store actually, I was so excited (especially since it was before any rereleases!). She's still in her box because I couldn't bring myself to take her out. lol

I hope that you do end up making clothes, that would be awesome! :D

I've seen a couple of the Equestria girls, I think they're cute but I'm probably not going to get any of them. Joints are a big selling point for me! I had to immediately re-body the Mulan barbie I picked up from a thrift store, I loved her face but once I got her home I just couldn't do a thing with her since she only had shoulder and hip joints. I've been spoiled by my bjd and MH lol. I think that I might have fun doing Equestria MH customs in the future though!

Equestria mh customs would be epic, I'd totally have to commission at least a pinkie pie from you! (I am pinkie pie, with some fluttershy). Made out like a bandit doll wise for Christmas, I got Clawdia, elissabat, Jane boolittle and honey swamp! Also my first evh doll Maddie Hatter, and a bunch of others, the I love shoes draculaura is amazing! And now I'm missing snow bite from scarily ever after and catastrophe from three power ghouls. Still need the haunt t casbah ones, and oh if you come across a sweet 1600 cupid will you let me know? Cupid, music festival draculaura and clawd two pack, snow bite and catastrophe are my priorities right now. Who are yours? I'll keep an eye out, I'll even give you my number if you see one that way you could let me know and I could PayPal you right away or something. I hope you had a wonderfu Christmasl <3!
