Sculpting challenge, Day 143- hair rooting

Tonight I did most of the hair rooting on my pony! I still need to add the forehead poof, and then tame the hair a bit, but it's all in now! The only hair that I had had sort of large ringlets, so I boiled it to straighten it. It's still rather wavey though, but I think it makes her look like a diva. lol xD

This process was sort of tedious and frustrating, but I think it turned out very nicely! I like the colour of the hair with the paint.

This is also the first picture after the last colour wash that wasn't pictured previously, and the sealing. :3

Thank you! :D For my prototype pony I'd decided to go for a more natural pony paint, but I'm going to branch out to less realistic things next. :D

I'm planning on it! :D Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie are so cute, I have to make them! And Rainbow Dash, but I don't have hair for that (maybe I'll make sculpted hairs lol).

I find pricing really tough for my Etsy too. I try to keep things reasonable but thipping from Canada sucks so that adds cost. I know there are always people who think art should either be super cheap or super expensive. I try to look at is something that I know I won't get paid for my hours of work so as long as I'm enjoying the work I'm good to keep my prices in the middle. I'm not just giving the work away but I'm not making a huge profit either.
