Tonight I continued sculpting the male head. I finished sculpting the second eye, worked on the brows, and tweaked the cheeks and mouth. I'm happy with how he's coming along! The first head in the picture is the second head that I sculpted, and while I kinda like it, I don't think it's what I want. I'm thinking I might save it for a different character and sculpt a different head entirely. I have a plan in mind for that earlier head, but I'm not quite sure yet.
I also tweaked the second female head (3rd head in picture). I'm actually pretty happy with her, but I needed to tweak her nose and mouth a bit. I'm probably going to tweak her further, but I think I addressed what I felt really needed to be fixed. :3
They're all ready for ears!

In this picture there is a tiny grey head, Scottie actually sculpted that today and last night! The head is baked, and the eyes are already painted. :D It's so small, and I'm super excited that he's getting into sculpting! He wants to make a DnD figure, and this little sculpt is a planning sculpt for his final one which will be even smaller!

Heads in progress

Here's our Sunday Pathfinder game! If you want to read the story of what's going on, Scottie is blogging it from the viewpoint of his character. It's really neat! His username is [livejournal.com profile] tanvan. :3 The map is something that got out of the book, made it bigger in the gimp, split it up into something that we could print, then taped the pieces together into one large map. It's such an awesome thing to use for gaming!
Sunday gaming!

Gaming snacks!
This was our lunch and "gamer snacks"! The shrimp and deviled eggs are soo much better than something like cheetos! That's our sodastream bottle of Sodastream's version of Mountain Dew. :3

Chicken with squash noodles!
This is an awesome dish that Scottie made for dinner! It's pan fried chicken with cheese on top of sauce that Scottie made, and there are no carbs because the noodles are made out of squash! It was super tasty. :D

I also got a picture of Chaos exploring the back of the couch. I thought it was cute!

Pathfinder! This has to be my favourite tabletop rpg, I think, apart from all the small weird ones, I guess 8D;;

I'm currently running Council of Thieves, I've only got one player but it still works out fine. I'm wondering how the actual play that they've added into the second part of this adventure path is going to play out with only one PC, but oh well, everything is going very well so far, we're having tons of fun :D Are you guys only a DM and a PC as well, or do you have more players? :O We should exchange experience here, I feel.

That dinner looks so delicious! I'm planning on making enchiladas for Valentine's Day dinner, but that really pales in comparison to stuff like making noodles out of squash, LOL. :D

Our play is one PC (me), all four of the premade characters from the book as NPCs, and Tanya as the DM. In this case it works out well, she is amazing at playing all the different characters and finding reasons for the ones I'm not talking to to be somewhere else. We have a home base in this adventure path, so we just leave one person behind to "guard" the place.

We've been saying that the person left behind gets the same XP and GP as the rest of the group, but from doing things on their own time. It makes it so that the adventure difficulty scales well and we can have all the NPCs power up and gear up at the same rate, while not lowering the overall advancement by dividing amongst five characters instead of four.

This particular adventure path seems well suited for this kind of play because in Kingmaker one of us is destined to become a King, (that will be me), and thus a defacto leader of the party. I have a decently high charisma, and wicked high intelligence.

Regardless I'm having a blast with it, and Tanya is doing a great job running it.

Thank you! I've never made enchiladas, but I'm sure that they will be delicious. For the record, the squash noodle thing is really easy. And since our diet has restricted carbs, and I wanted noodles, it wasn't much of a leap to find a way to make it happen.

All I did was take a veggie peeler, just like you would use to peel potatoes or carrots, and after the zucchini and yellow squash was washed, peeled them repeatedly lengthwise until I got to the seed level. The noodles were peeled into a bowl, I added some salt to them for flavor and to leech some fluid from them while cooking the rest of the meal. in this case even the skins are noodles.

The slices are thin and really only need to be warmed through to be ready to eat. So once I had a sauce made I tossed the noodles in and brought the sauce to a boil tossing the noodles tho make sure that got a good coat of sauce.

Overall, while more complicated than grabbing dry noodles from the pantry, it is easier than making traditional flour noodles from scratch. And this way I didn't need to worry about the carbs or figuring out where I was going to set up the pasta roller.

Yay! I love Pathfinder! I think my other favorite would be Arcana Evolved. :3

That is really neat that you're also running a game with a GM and one PC. I wish that there was more stuff out there for people like us! I've designed games for Scottie that I've run with him as a single PC, I usually run one NPC as a sidekick for him which is really fun. We wanted to do these Pathfinder premades though and they are made for 4 PCs (I know that I could change it, but I didn't want to change the feel of the campaign), I'm now playing the 3 NPCs and Scottie is the leader of the group.

We should totally exchange experiences! Scottie's also run games for me as a single PC, so he's also a good person to talk to. :D

I thought it was pretty amazing myself! He's so creative. :D Enchiladas are awesome, I think that sounds like a wonderful Vday dinner! :3
