The Sodastream is awesome, we've had it for about 2 or 3 years now! I prefer it to regular soda since it is sweetened with Splenda instead of aspertame. That stuff Scottie can't even drink because it gives him migraines! There are a lot of different flavor syrups to choose from, and you can also get little glass bottles of fruit oils to add to the water to make fruit flavored sparkling water! I do that a lot too. The regular syrups are also lower calorie than normal regular sodas and use no high fructose corn syrup (which I know for a fact is bad since I know biochem!). It's way more cost effective than buying regular soda too! The bottles of syrup last quite a while, as do the oil bottles. The CO2 canisters also last a long time, and you get a deal on getting more by bringing in your old canister, and you get a cheaper refill price. Everywhere that we've been that sells Sodastream stuff offers that service. You can also make your own syrup! We've done that a few times, but normally we just get the premade stuff. If you go somewhere that sells it you can also probably ask for a demo and try a couple of flavors to see if you like it. That's what we did! I would totally recommend it! Since we've bought it I haven't bought soda unless we were going out to eat. xD
