I realized this morning that the picture was actually due today, not tomorrow like I'd originally thought! xD Oops! Luckily I was finished with the set by today, I just had finishing touches left, plus of course getting the set together and taking the picture. It just put me on a faster schedule!
All the pictures will be put into a gallery post that people can vote on tomorrow. I hope people like my picture! n_n'
I don't think I can show it until after voting ends? I'll have to check. But should be able to post actual progress pics instead of just teasers. xD
This was me working with the chicken wire. Wrangling it onto the cardboard base wasn't the easiest thing, and it didn't like to behave. I taped it down with little strips between each mesh. It worked well, but it took forever. It was easier than getting it to that point though. xD
( Chicken wire armature starting point )
Then with a lot of cutting, shaping, flailing, and a fair number of cuts and scrapes, I got it to this shape.

Oh god Frankie I'm really as subtle as a brick aren't I?
This is probably true...
The poster in the back is the set I'm building of course. I found a picture and Scottie helped me get it to the right size so I could print it out as a reference. I used the character in the picture to get it scaled to a Monster High doll size. :3
More stuffs later!
But I'm super happy to have finished it, and even on time considering I had the day wrong for when it was due!
