Feb. 4th, 2012 12:03 pmSo I haven't done much sculpting this week, but I do have reasons for that. Mostly it's due to me feeling like crap this week. I think I'm finally doing better, but I haven't really felt quite up to sculpting. I don't know what I came down with, but it was not fun. :P
Also, since I got Scottie Skyrim for his birthday that's been available to play... so I got kind of sucked into that too. lol Just because I've started playing Skyrim though, doesn't mean I'm going to stop my sculpting project. Mostly it's just due to being sick.
I'm hoping to get some more sculpting done on the fawn though tonight!
In other news I put together my Monster High Create-A-Monster vampire last weekend and I think she is totally adorable. Her wig is a bit wonky but I'm hoping that I'll be able to style it to behave better. Right now the way it sits it looks like she has a grown out mohawk or something. I knew girls that had that sort of hairstyle so it's not terrible, but the main problem is I can see a bit of the wig disk. So I need to get it to stop doing that, but I'd like to style her hair so that you can see the adorable pointed ears she has. lol Perhaps I should just root hair in later after I've had some practice, or get her a different sort of wig.
I've decided that I am going to sculpt and cast another torso for my sea monster parts. I'm just not sure when though because I'm in the middle of my sculpting project, and my plans for that aren't going to be finished for some time. I want the doll torso but I don't want to lose the momentum I have in my other sculpting projects either.
I think it's really silly that the CAM set only comes with one torso, and that the torso only matches the skin tone of one of the girls. xP
