Budgie cookie recipe
Mar. 1st, 2010 09:00 pmSo I found a neat recipe in a bird forum, I haven't tried it yet but it seems like something I'll want to try. If I put it here I'll be able to find it again, and maybe someone else will also be able to do it. xD
"For about 6 to 8 cookies:
1 egg
1 tablespoon flour
a littel bit of honey
and about 250 gramme bird seed.
You also can add fruits or herbs.
Form the dough to cookies and bake them for about 20 to 25 minutes at about 120° Celsius.
The only problem is, that the cookies are not very durable. Due to that, I don't bake so many at a single blow. But they can also be frozen."
I got the recipe from here: http://www.budgerigars.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?966-Budgies-eating-bread/page3
