I hate wedding planning. I hate long distance wedding planning in particular (not that I know any other kind). I don't know anything about wedding planning, I've never even been to a wedding except for being at my father's wedding when I was like 9. I was supposed to be in Krissy's wedding, then at it (it was too iffy for me to be in it), but thanks to mom making me think that the wedding was on Sunday when it was on Saturday I didn't even get to see that one. I was in Krissy's wedding planning in the earlier stages, but not so much further in.
The people that I'm depending on to help me (my family) won't carry out my wishes (like booking the minister, we said 'get the universilist minister for us' and they called them, found out the price and told the minister that we didn't want it. Thanks for asking me. I say 'please tell me how much this place costs for our reception', my mom says 'no, that's too shabby' and doesn't even look. It's really pissing me off.)
I don't think I'm being Bridezilla or anything, but dismissing things that I want out of hand and not even replacing my ideas with better ones, just leaving me to try and figure how to fill those holes out from out here in WY... it's really pissing me off and stressing me out.
I think I either want a wedding planner (which I get to ask mom to look for because I couldn't find any listed online for the wedding area) or I want to elope. I feel horrible because Carrie and Krissy I'm pretty sure have already ordered their bridesmaid dresses, and I doubt they would wear them past the wedding. I want to have an outdoor wedding, we're not going to be able to do it until mid-late October and Krissy wants to wear a coat and boots. She thinks that I have forgotten the temp in MI in October, I think she forgets that I have worn less on Halloween night. It's not like I've forgotten, and it's not like I'm living in the tropics.
Bleh.
