Is it just me or is lj giving errors much more frequently as well as being slower? I've been noticing how often I click on things in my friend's list to find 'sorry, database temporarily unavailable'. I refresh once and it generally goes away, but still, it's annoying. Plus it seems to be rather slow tonight.
I just got an email from one of my friends, Lindsey from my freshman year of college. She was my friend before she lost it and moved back home downstate. But, she seems to have recollected herself mostly. I haven't talked to her in some time. Actually, I should send her an email. I hate to lose touch with friends. Yes, even ones who go temporarily insane.
But anyway, I got an email from her. A forward. One that promised to give everyone who forwarded it to at least 5 people would get a free plane ticket from Spirit Airlines!!!!!111!!111!!!3.141!!! Because they are having financial troubles, therefore they are going to give everyone a free ticket to wherever in the world they want to go to. Of course the email is being tracked, and they will get their free ticket in a week.
Riiiiight. The sad thing was that the email was 50 miles long because so many many people had forwarded it on. And everyone who had forwarded it had forwarded to a huge number of people. Oi. Ow... my head. Though I'm not surprised. ...I need an annoyed/wth/incredulous/etc type icon. All of my icons are currently happy icons... lol
I need to go do something productive now. Like go home and read plant physiology. I just got out of Japanese class and decided to check my email before I went home.
