Just something I was thinking about
Aug. 15th, 2005 11:16 pmI'm putting off walking my dog. I'm tired, and not very motivated. I'll get out there, just not at this very moment. :P
But that's not what I was going to write about. The other day when I was at work Billie (girl, the manager) told me that I should have my hair up off of my collar. Now I knew I should have my hair tied up, and I did, but what I have been doing isn't good enough. I don't know what else to do with it. o.O I have a lot of hair... And I have to wear a Subway cap on my head so I don't have a lot of room to do anything with it. xP
So when she told me that I looped my ponytail into the tie I was using... didn't get it off my collar though, but she didn't say anything further about it. Technically, I think that made it worse than having it tied behind. Because the loop has more of a tendency to come forward than just the ponytail. Basically the ponytail stays put. I think I'll just keep it in a ponytail when Billie isn't working with me. Not to be mean, and I'm not trying to get stray hair in anyone's food, but I think I know my hair better than Billie does.
Hey, if for some reason it gets me fired, I don't really care. I really should look for a job in Houghton instead of Calumet anyway. I don't know what I'm going to be able to offer them in terms of my time once school starts. No weekdays will work (not at subway, anyway). Will they want to keep me if I can only work one or two days a week (meaning Saturday or Sunday)? I dunno. But hey, I needed the money...
Technically Billie, the person who hired me, is leaving the middle of next week for college. She really won't care what happens after that point, if I quit or whatever. Three other people got hired the same time as me, and Dawn said that everyone's hours get cut drastically in winter because only two people are on shift at a time...
Yes. Rambling. I should walk my dog.
I went down my gramma's camp today. I had the day off. I did some swimming of course, though the water was somewhat cold. Tempurature hasn't been very high the last couple weeks...
I have downloaded the song "These Words" by Natasha Bedingfield the other day because I have it stuck in my head. I like the chorus, beginning and end. I'm not overly fond of the rest of it because it doesn't really mean much, but it's an addictive little song.
