I just got out of my physics exam. Well, actually I got out of my exam an hour ago... I wanted to come on the computer for a bit but I'm upstairs of the library and there are only 3 computers, and there were ppl on all three. Now I could have gone back downstairs but I figured I'd just wait. In the time being I did biostats and read the Daily Bull (I couldn't jump right into biostats right after a physics exam now. o.O)
Wow, that was a fun exam. Ok, so it wasn't. Last time I did really well on the problems section (which is 60% of the total grade) and kinda crappy on the multiple choice (which is the conceptual stuff). But overall I had a pretty good grade.
This exam I'm pretty confident in my multiple choice answers, and it's not that I didn't know what I was doing on the problems section, it's just that I didn't have enough time to do all of them. He thought that he didn't write the exam very long, and he said he had more problems than normal, but he said that they shouldn't take too long to do because they weren't multi part problems. WTF, when I got the exam most of the problems were multi-part problems! I don't know what he was thinking! :P Anyway, we have only an hour to do the exam, no more than that. So I'm going along and with 5 minutes remaining everyone in the classroom is still furiously scribbling away, and I'm sitting there like shit, I didn't get to do this problem or this part of this problem or this... DAMNIT! I hate that to be the reason for a bad grade, the fact that I knew how to do the damn problems but not physically having enough time to do them. -_- In the final 5 minutes he finally got ppl handing stuff in, and I gave mine when there was like a minute remaining... Though the last few minutes are pretty useless if you're trying to figure out what is the most optimal thing to write in different places for hopefully partial credit. When put into that sitch my brain just shuts off, and I couldn't think of anything useful at that point anyway. Bah.
(side note: a girl just walked in and sat at the computer across from me, and she's wearing headphones. And she's singing. Quietly... or so she thinks. You know how some ppl talk louder when wearing headphones because they can't hear themselves? I'm fairly certain that's what she's doing.
It's not like she's singing nicely, it's nasal and monotone, and you can't figure out exactly what she's saying. It's also sporatic, which makes it sound more like she's talking in some wierd way to herself than singing.
The guy that was sitting next to the computers studying looked kind of annoyed and left. Singing in the study area... Nice. :P)
Anyway, that was the finale to a crap week. Well, I had those lab reports due tuesday, I had an ichthyology exam wednesday, my biostats presentation yesterday, my physics exam today... I'd like to say 'yay, I can calm down a bit because I'm done for a while!' but that's not true because I start next week off with a biostats exam monday, and I think I have a geology exam next week too. He seems to have forgotten to put the date on his syllabus though, so that's why I'm not sure of the timing of his last non-final exam. PLUS I have ANOTHER biostats presentation to do! Damnit I just did one this week! And I have to write a paper to go along with the presentation.
And I need to study for finals.
Oooooooooi vey. The last couple weeks of school are always killer. :P
And wow that girl is getting annoying. I'm going to go back to where I was and hope that I can't hear her. o.O
