neopets things
Sep. 8th, 2004 09:37 pmWell, I finally figured out how to make Opera work (though it doesn't work as well as IE...), and I transferred (self-transfer) the grey ixi to my account from Shiggy! *hugs shiggs* xD
Also, before that I transferred my fire scorchio to my mom's account, and my faerie chomby to a different account. These are both things that I needed to do, and now that I could transfer myself it was much easier... hehe Also, I needed to do a couple test pets before I transfered Zigo. o.O;;
I'm so happy to finally have my lil grey ixi... O.O; I was so nervous transferring! But I don't think I'll ever transfer any other way now... hehe
In other news...
Ok, today I was at college in the library and felt like going on neopets for a bit (taking a break from my physics and biochem homework, blech) and I wanted to create a pet name that I saw had been freed in the name freeing (it's a wiccan symbol... not saying what it is. Use your imagination). So I went to log into neopets and was like 'huh? I'm already logged into an account!' I was going to log out, but then I was like, well, what could this person have lost if someone else had gotten into her account? So I looked... She had over a million points, a mutant draik with a ghost cyodrake, a plushie chomby, a robot peophin and a blue kau (her oldest pet) that was high stats and an ultimate genius. She has a 44 month old account (one month younger than my main). Her lookup said she was a senior in college, and she's my age.
I didn't even consider taking anything from her, don't worry. I'm better than that. o.O I then logged her out, and logged into my own account. I created the pet I wanted, and then I sent her a neomail. I said that I had found her account logged in at the library, and that I was a student at our college too. I told her that I didn't take anything (which I hadn't, as I've said) and that she should be more careful, cause not all people are as nice as me. I told her how long I've been on neopets, and I offered to neofriend her. After I'd thought about it for a while when I was driving home I have a bit of an idea of who the owner of the account is, though I have no proof to back up my idea. (she's a girl who works in the library, I've seen her at that playing at that computer often enough... it's a theory anyway)
Now she's much richer than I am, and she has some awesome pets, but I would never steal from someone else... I know how long it takes to make nps, and I know that she must have worked at it to get that much. But it's a public library, and anyone could have gotten into her account. She's just lucky it was me. o.O
I have other things to say, but I had 4 hours of sleep the other night, and 5 hours last night. I'm a tired cookie. :P
