Robecca photoshoot- including detail pictures!

I told Scottie that Robecca reminds me so much of Cordelia from BtVS (Charisma Carpenter), I think it's especially pronounced in these pictures!







Now here are more of the detail pictures:


I love her gear eyes!


I tried to show the gears on the back of her calves, they spin!


I wanted to somehow have a picture with her holding her bag while it was open.


One of the details that you might miss is the heart plate over her heart. That is the cutest detail!

Yes I think so? I'll have to go look at her later. On the couch with kitty in lap right now but yeah I'm pretty sure she came with a pet.

Do all the dolls have body detailing like that? I thought they were smooth like a Barbie - how interesting?

Most dolls are smooth like Barbie, unless they're some sort of special doll. Robecca has the plates for being a steampunky robot. Other dolls that have different bodies include Jinafire the dragon girl (and the snake girls) with scaley reptilian bodies, Skelita (has the skeletal body), and the mummy girl CAM (I don't have her, but she has sculpted bandages). There are some other dolls with painted details, but I'm always especially impressed by the different sculpts. :3

Wow - fascinating. Interesting that they do that because it would require different molds/dies to do that rather than use the same old mold (ie, like Barbie does). I love that they do the extra detail and something I wasn't aware of.

I love that they do that too, it's just one of the things that makes me love the line so much. They are all about the details. :D
