He's in Thor for a decent amount of time, I mean, he's not the main but he's still there a lot. Some of my most favorite parts are in the deleted scenes though! I watched the Avengers before I saw Thor, so you could certainly go that way, but Thor is really important for why he is the way he is in the next movie. n_n You could get a DVD from something like RedBox (I don't know what all you have available where you are) or the library or a friend or something? (lol, sorry, Loki and Thorverse is like my favorite thing so I like to share it n_n')
