New Moon
So the other night me and Scottie went to see New Moon. I liked the movie, though there were some things that they left out that they should have included of course. Like they didn't go into imprinting at all, which leaves them to explain it later or stuff will REALLY not make any sense.
Something that they left out that wasn't as major but I wish was there was the cd Edward made for her bday. Sure, she told him not to get her anything, in the movie he listened and didn't get her anything at all. In the book he made her a cd of him playing her a song on the piano, which I think was justified by him not -buying- her anything. When he left he took that too. The later scene with Jacob where she gets up and turns off the radio because 'she doesn't like music anymore' makes more sense with that info.
It makes me think of whistling personally. During that period with me and Scottie I wouldn't let anyone whistle around me because it made me think of him.
Still don't like the actors picked with the exception of Jacob. He actually looks the part, though I'm not 100%. I still wish they'd picked someone attractive to play Edward. I think they're growing on me though despite that.
I want to read the books again. I think a second read through will actually be more enjoyable in the 2nd and 4th book than the first time. The 2nd book was really hard for me to read because it took me back to a bad time for me. Now I know what I'm getting into and I know how it ends. The 4th book will be easier because I won't be spending the first third of the book going OMGWTFBBQ WHAT THE HELL because I'll know the reasons things are happening as they did.
