Random question

If anyone has heard the song Reptile by Nine Inch Nails, does the machine sound in the background seem creepy to you? I have a odd semi fear of cyborg type things (like I was totally creeped out when I was little and I watched The Terminator at the end where he's a metal skeleton cut in half crawling after the woman *can't remember her name*, in fact that still makes me creeped out...)
But anyway, the sound in the background of this song is kind of creepy. I like the song though. lol

Hehehe, the first time I ever heard that song, it gave me such bad shivers. It's so very, very creepy. It's my favorite song on that CD; I listen to it a lot. Still give me goosebumps sometimes, and I often have to check over my shoulder just in case. Of what, I dunno, but... I'm not logical, hee.

What's funny too is that I just finished watching The Terminator. Derek and I were talking about how we were more creeped out by the cyborg after he was just a torso and arms. How is that, really? He's less effective, so we're more scared? Heh.

Well, the sound in the background makes me think of a cyborg type thing walking up behind me, so I understand the whole want to look over your shoulder type feeling lol. I might not be entirely logical either though lol.

Possibly it's more creepy when he's just a torso and arms because you feel like he shouldn't be able to get you at that point, but he's still coming to get you...? Less effective yes, but still creepier! lol

Y'know, you must be right. Even being a torso doesn't keep him from trying to kill you! Hahahaha.
